Patriots vs. Rams Game Thread!

Action starts in about 30 minutes!
Who else is excited?
Hopefully we'll get to see some of the rookies like Cunningham, but fortunately Banta-Cain is back and healthy, and Burgess should play so we should see our full-fledged pass-rush tonight.
Others not seen were Edelman and Hernandez. Kind of disappointing - both were having great camps.
Let's just hope that Edelman isn't seriously hurt - we all know that Aaron isn't (he was running sprints the past few practices)

WR Darnell Jenkins
WR Julian Edelman
WR Matthew Slater
S Bret Lockett
CB Kyle Arrington
LB Eric Alexander
OL George Bussey
OL Nick Kaczur
TE Aaron Hernandez
OLB Jermaine Cunningham
Only ones not playing that you would expect to see in week 1 are Hernandez and Edelman. You would also like to see Cunningham out there, but not a big concern there.
We all know that Hernandez and Cunningham are fine and should be good to go for week 1. Let's just keep our fingers crossed on Julian.

I'd like to see the D stop Jackson and the running game and get at least one pick from the kid.
On O I want to see thEm scoring at will. This should be a points every touch kinda game.

cunningham has been injured and yet to get onto the field. kinda reminds me of another pats olb drafted a couple years ago

The defense doesn't look motivated.... our front 7 are being thrown around like rag-dolls.
This isn't encouraging.

I can tell right now - our defense at this point isn't strong enough to face good o-lines and a good running game.
Our OLBs are too small to set the edge and Mike Wright isn't a 3-4 DE... Hopefully Brace can get in there and start at some point.
Pass-rush looked good on 3rd down though.
More than anything, the defense just doesn't look motivated or pumped up. Everything looks sluggish and everyone looks unmotivated.
Why would this happen now?
