    With Hernandez on the shelf Gronk is really getting a chance to shine tonight. Gotta be excited about this offense this season.

    Ok so why is Marony getting no carries again tonight?  Does this guy even make the team?  Would at least think they would have the guy on the field to try and show something.

    Great pass-rush on that play, great break on the ball by McGowan.

    That's the intensity that I like to see. Let's hope that the 1st stringers can come out with that type of fire right off the bat in future games.

    Meriweather spotted heading back to the locker room. Safety Brandon Meriweather was spotted heading back to the locker room, walking slowly with members of the team’s training staff. There has been no official word on any injury.

    I said it earlier and I'll say it again: the offense was re-tooled so it can "cover up" our defense a little more for a while. Maybe the defense really starts to gel after the bye or after Week 8 but until then it's going to be up to this offense to put up points so the defense can pin its ears back. Expect long, methodical drives and with three versatile TEs, expect them to finally finish on their red zone trips.

    Possible trade to Washington involving Maroney? Shanahan is on record of his love for this guy, then again he did get fired in Denver for a reason.
