Pats 4-4 in last 8 playoff games (6 home games, 2 SB)...

I know some posters here can't be bothered with facts, but since 2007, we've played 8 playoff games, 6 at home, 2 Super Bowls, so not even any away playoff games.

We've been favored in all 8 playoff games, but our record is 4-4.  For the gamblers out there, we are 1-7 against the spread.  (the one cover was against the Tebow Broncos)

It definitely concerns me that we never seem to play our best in the playoffs.

NEVER? 3-2 in 5 Superbowls since 2001. How many PLAYOFF games did Pat's win to get there? Since 07' is a small sample, how many other teams since that time have more Playoff wins or Superbowl appearances? We're such a spoiled fan base since 01'

Silly Leon, you're thinking about your Jets again. The Jets don't play well in the playoffs or the regular season either and that's why NFL fans refer to the Jets as NY's JV team. NY Jets=Over 40 years of futility and counting!!!!!

First of all, Phat Rex, you're not a Pats fan so you don't have to worry about any of this.

If I were you, I would worry about getting laid without paying for it and leaving that basement, as well as helping Rex erase that homo-erotic Sanchez tattoo from his arm.

How many names can these clowns come up for themselves? What the heck is a VeritasMD anyway? Sounds like some Robotech crap!

If New England wins the Super Bowl, Bill Belichick will tie Tom Landry for most wins in NFL playoff history. His 17 wins currently tie him for third with Joe Gibbs, two victories behind Chuck Noll.

It's fun to play with numbers but you also have to be pragmatic when using them. None of the numbers used in this thread have any bearing on this year's playoff teams. They only show past performances by mostly different players.

When you pick and chose your facts, especially within a narrow band, Veritas, anything can be made to look bad.  How about this, the Pats are 0 - 1 since their "last" playoff game they were in, therefore they haven't won a playoff game in a year.  How's that for a fact?   Just be happy the Pats are one of those teams that can have THAT MANY playoff games played in the last few years given most teams have ZERO!!
