Pats fastest in NFL to snap the ball

The Pats average 25 seconds between plays, the fastest clip in the NFL.  Thus ensuring that they score quick and get the ball back fast so they can score again.

I hope Brady mixes up the snap count and draws the Niners off-side with the hard count.

Does this include all those plays in the fourth quarter where Brady waits until the last second?  Does it include all those plays where the defensive 11 are forced to get into position while Brady looks them over and changes his mind sometimes?  The Patriots may in fact be quite a bit faster than their average because they're by far the fastest in the NFL to line up on every play.

The Pats are in great aerobic condition.

Yes, I think this is their average for every snap in the season, so for the first 3 quarters they re moving very fast indeed.

Makes sense when you have an offense that protects the ball...  Less time, more plays , more points.

I loved the play when they broke the huddle as soon as the ref blew his whistle to start the clock, they all ran up to the line, then hiked the ball, and did it in all of about 5 seconds! The D didn't know what hit them!

probobaly one of the more less surprising of stats.....the pats run that no-huddle offense like a machine, as good as anyone in the league.

Of course. I am on record saying what McD did in 06 is one of the best O. jobs in BB's era. Zero talent on offense and a defensive collapse away from a 4rth SB! He followed that up with statistically the best offense in NFL history, which might be surpassed this year because have focused on not only the passing game but committing to the running game...which leaves us unstoppable imo.

Let's not forget taking a QB who we all thought should have been cut in pre season of 08 and getting us to 11-5 which should have been good for another playoff trip. Btw he did that by using Sammy Morris, Lamont Jordan and a 33 year old Kevin Faulk to become 6th in the LG in rushing...a far cry from Ridley,Vareen, Bolden and Woody.
