    Pats looking at Vonnie Holliday.

According to Foxsports, the Patriots are looking at ex-Dolphin Holliday.  If Vonnie is healthy, it would be a great pickup.

With all the smoke about Carter and Holliday, I can't help but think New England is planning to do some more 4-3 sets like they ran in 2001.

    1.) It mixes things up.
2.) It can spell the 3-4 crew.

I also wouldn't be surprised to see more 46 sets as well.

Is Ty Warren ok?  Doesn't seem DE would be a pressing need unless Ty's still beat up (Seymour, Warren, Jarvis, Mike Wright, Le Kevin Smith).

Ty practiced full pads I believe so he seems fine now. I don't really see the point of adding a 33 year old DE since we just traded for Burgess.
