What's really telling is their total points in the second half of the past two seasons: something like 250-50.  And they still have another 5 games.  They play better from November on.

Any given Sunday as it's football.  However, fans of the NFL don't realize that this has been the most successful franchise in NFL history over the last 13 years, and that crazy part is there is an absolute chance that there may another 5 ahead.  TB may get older, but the D is growing and there are alot of new weapons on the O considering the ground game has reemerged.

I mean Giants have looked good over the past 5 years, but they have been up and down.  9-7 records and what not.  Steelers are trending down... and that really leaves the Pack... however, year after year the Pats are right there.  Even though we have heard many times 'the window is closing'.  Outside of the Pack because of Rogers.... the reality is the Pats are still the best team built for the future considering they are stacked now and still under the cap.  Then the cap will expand in what 2015?  This team is built for the long haul as it always has been, and it is obviously in great position for this year as well as the next....

Great to be a Pats fan.

That's why I said it is feasible to believe this will last 5 more years.

I ain't putting eggs in the basket, but Mallett was considered the most talented thrower of his draft class.  Pretty good back up plan there at the moment.

And I don't foresee Brady retiring anytime soon they way he is playing, prepares himself, and his competitive nature.

Again it's been going on for 13 years and this seems to be the most talented Pats team in sometime with a lot of youth.

The most flukey part of the Arizona game was the winning touchdown run being called back on a phantom hold by Gronkowski.

My theory is that certain of the scabs had cut a private deal to throw NFL games the wrong way, again and again, until the regular union got their jobs back.  Nothing personal against the Pats or against Green Bay for that matter, it just needed to be done.

BB likes Mallett enough to only have two quarterbacks on staff.  Mallett's had a year to mature on the bench, he can throw the football a lot farther than Brady and he can see over Brady's head.  My guess is that Mallett is the second best quarterback in the AFC East.  That's damning him with faint praise.

Who the heck are you? A Giants fan on a Patriots board playing the forum police? Get over yourself.

We watch every Patriots game every year and all they do is win. Almost every game all the time. It's pretty fun. It is a reality to us.

No kidding it could all be over when Brady leaves. But who knows? Certainly not you.

Jints, you are a dinkweed deluxe.   and stupid.

Great post, Paul...  Yeah aside from a full blown conspiracy it was definitively a horrible call.  Officials referee  the situation .  They're  human.  THEY KNOW THAT THE PATRIOTS ARE BETTER THAN EVERY TEAM IN THE LEAGUE...

How else would have opie the wobbling dink of jintland have completed that ridiculous "drive" in 2007-8? ... Exactly. Non calls, can't keep a correct game clock, more non calls , and miracles .

Gross...  This is the new normal.

Thing is ... Idiots like jints think his 9-7 team that can find lightening in a bottle ( or was that peds...?)  is actually good... Lol.  They suck. and will miss the playoffs this year...  Hahahaha... Jints and jets SUCK!

More to the point.  18-4 is an excellent display of football the way it should be played.

Coolade..  yeah, we can "think" the Pats are the best team in the league, but, the best team does not always win every game or a key game.  We all learned that the hard way in SBs 42 and 46 in which the "other" team caught lightning in a bottle and won through the playoffs contrary to what most thought that team would.  Look at how all the opponents of that team self destructed to lose games.  You can't take away the effort that team gave to win, but, a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while.
