If the weather's as crapola as predicted, this won't be a great day for long passes.  Concur with your Welker prediction (short stuff 6-12 yard range).  TN will try to run and we'll need to stop them on third down.  Special teams will play a big part today - we need to win the battle of field position.  We need to jump on them early and take advantage of any turnovers.  Don't think the scoring will be too high due to wind/rain, but I can envision a 24-13 Pats victory.

With Finnigan, Harper, and Griffin out or probable, Brady has the ability to shred this secondary and he should. Titans will muster up some running game, but they will be trailing most of the game: 31-17. Brady and Moss will finally be on the same page. This will cause some concern throughout the NFL from defensive cordinators.

Titans defensive backs are roughed up, finnegan is not goin to play.

Welker has about 10 catches 98 yards one td

the titans will stop the run.

Brady throws the ball 40+ times with 1 interception.

Moss gets 7 catches 123 yards 1 touchdown

Maroney gets more receiving yards than rushing yards

brandon meriweather will get his 1st interception of the season.

    pats win 34-17

    Re: Pats predictions?

17-10, Pats win ugly.  Pats won't run well and Brady is not throwing long accurately, so a lot of passes will be out of reach, with an INT or two.  Titans will have the exact same problems.

It would be nice if I didn't have to see Chris Johnson running undisturbed down the field.

Bad luck for the Pats.  This might have been a blowout but for the monsoon-like weather.  Didn't want to get into a smash mouth-type game with the Titans.   Probably (hopefully) the Pats hold on 17-10.

I wonder if the passing game is going to be a big part of the Patriots' game plan today with the weather...

Not only is it supposed to rain, but there are supposed to be winds whipping at 20-30 mph.

    Re: Pats predictions?

Did anyone think that the weather today may play into the Titan's hands?  Everyone is looking for the Pats offense to break out in this game, but alas, the weather will not cooperate.  There is one thing to think about though, the Pats are one of the best "bad weather" teams in the league and can still run up the score.  There may not be the long pass plays we are all looking for, but, Brady can light up this secondary.  Could definitely see one of his better games as he is fired up over his poor play last weekend.  I can see a double digit victoy margin.
