Pats ranked #5..another reason to guard that brand Mr Kraft

I dont know how accurate the rankings are, but this is how Forbes listed the teams...

.@Forbes top 10 most valuable sports teams of 2013: Real Madrid, ManU, Barca, Yankees, Cowboys, Patriots, Dodgers, Redskins, Giants, Arsenal

Pats are #6 unless I counted wrong or you made the list wrong.....That's amazing considering the teams ahead of them, sadly they will fall fast the moment Brady retires. I think if the Pats won the SB during the almost perfect season they could have been in front of The "not Anerica's team" Cowboys. I bet Yankees and Dodgers make most of their cash on wannabe thugs wearing Yankee caps.

When you have a great horse you ride him. And BB is no fool. But to think he has no clue as to how to field a superior team and so will fall flat on his face when TB retires is, I think, not giving BB his due.

If the Pats are post season competative when it happens the franchise will be fine. It will be harder if BB is eventually replaced by another Clive Rush.

I have not seen the actual article, but since it is from Forbes, I am assuming the ranking given is for financial worth, not on the field performance.

Freediro, you are correct, I mis typed when posting #5, they appear to be #6. I also do not believe that any individual teams realize direct profits from sales of team merchandise. I understand that this goes into a pool that is then split between the players union and the teams, and then the teams portion is split evenly and dispersed to each team. So every team benefits from say a Brady jersey sale, or a Dodger hat.

If that's the case I guess socialism and spreading the wealth does work! lol

On topic-BB record without TB is suspect enough for me to think that the Pats could begin to slip down Forbes list. I love BB don't get me wrong, but I'll believe it when I see it.
