The offense played very well today.  Th eexecution was pretty darned good - except they couldn't score in the red zone.

The problem is they do NOT HAVE THE HORSES to compete.

Every pass is a 4 hard out or a 3 yard in or a 2 yard hook.  They do not have ANY EXPLOSIVE talent.

It was amazing that Brady engineered multiple 15 play drives with a handful of 5' 8" recievers who NEVER ACHIEVE separation from defenders.

Brady was threading the needle all day - but the COMPLETYE LACK OF TALENT caught up with them

As I said in a previous discussion, once Gronk went down, name a receiver on the Pats roster that puts fear in any opposing D?  They, literally, have no-one now to stretch the field.

Agree - the GM needs to be fired.  Not picking up a WR was stupid stupid stupid

We won 3 SBs without a "fear" inducing WR nor anyone who can stretch the field.

We;ve seen Dobson, Thompkins and even Edelman get behind Ds all year long.  Boyce did it last week on the PI call.

No one wins in this league barely scoring 20 points.  Go check the scoreboard today. Check it any week!

Run the ball.   Eat clock, manage the game, do not sub the RBs for the skill set so often.

Been saying it for years and years.

Sounds like you really hate the style of football that coach Belichick likes to play.  You should tell him. I bet he would change it up to ground and pound if it came from  a genius like you.

You have always been been very stupid and this above underlined statement supports why.

You are an indiot.  The did execute - incredibole 15 play drive s - but they do NOT have the players you need in the red zone.  The O-coordinator has no imagination.  So yes it is amazing how many passes were completed and the drives Brady engineered.

but the roster is not consstructed correctly.

But you want a throw back to the 75 Raiders with Pete Banazak and Mark Van Eeghen because you thing ball control and pound the football wins in 2013.

    idiot.

They need a WR who can go deep.  When they had that they were 16-0.  That is the critical difference.

Mankins has sucked all year. I believe Mt Hurl complimented him in the game thread. I chuckled.

Did you chuckle when the best GM in the cap era gave him that huge contract. Do you think the cap hell Pats will re-sign Edelman?

The rules have changed but Brady can't figure out how to benefit from them, moron?

    Isn't that convenient.

14 or 17 points in a SB. 13 last year, etc. He's been brutal managing games.  Brutal. It's like he waits average Ds who play their SBs vs us until the end games thinking it's some kind of a game or way to boost his legacy.

How about play well through all 4 qtrs?  The D gets his feet held to the fire, why shoudn't the leader of our offense, the supposed GOAT?

Ball control shouldn't be tossed out the window because it's an easier league to score points in.

That's been our problem.  Brady has lost his ball control game and execution in the red zone.

I am sure in this game there were many examples of blown opps in terms of keeping the ball and running clock.

Brady can't capitalize?  They have TERRIBLE WR talent - and Brady just put both of those mediocre 5'8" WRs over 100 yards recieving.

they are already playing ball control wing nut.  The 3 - 4 yard passes ARE ball control.

    They need vertical threats.

Not even worth discussing it with you.  You want them to give Blount 30 carries and punt 7 times a game.

Once again, you are the stupidist person in the room.

The Average team scores< than 22 points in 12 possessions.

The Pats D gives up 24 in 4, to a bottom 10 offense.

    Worthless.

If I were Kraft, I'd be asking for half of BB's salary back for the past 6 years and give it to TB.

Re: Pats still refuse to run the ball

How do you blame receivers for a loss when they pass for close to 400 yds? Seattle is the best team in the NFL, how good are their receivers. How many Super Bowls did Randy Moss win, how about TO, Calvin Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, Dez Bryant, Wes Welker, Vincent Jackson, shall I go on naming divas? Same as me, that's the answer.

The receivers are fine, if Edelman doesn't get arm barred they win the game and we're talking about how great he is.

This team is fine, but they're running out of players. There's not much you can do about it but move on. Baltimore was a wreck last year at times, a LOT worse than the Pats have looked at any time this year. The Giants went 9-7 in 2011. Neither had a bye week, nor did Green Bay in 2010. They're at least as good as those teams were, but it would be nice to get the players not already on IR back.

The number one seed is as much a curse as it is a blessing. 2009 is the only year a number one seed won the SB since the Pats in '04.

Yes, I've tried that line of questioning.  Rusty blames Brady for the play calling, claims that Brady changes the plays Bill sends in, ignores the ground and pound game plans etc.
