This was not a good football weekend for me. both my fantasy teams got hammered
I lost Charles and Britt all in two weeks and the Patriots lost

It's the teams you least expect to do well that always end up doing very good at the beginning and then taper off during the season. With the luck I have I will probably be "that" team.

sad to see my favorite team NEGAME lose this weekend , but heck they ought to be able to score more than 63 points against Rocky next weekend.

Crucial decision to make for my flex spot.. Do I go with Woodhead or Ryan Mathews? The Patriots O is going to light it up on the Oakland defense and Woodhead could be a big part of that or Mathews who is going against the Dolphins D and scored 27 fantasy points last week. Decisions, decisions!!

Only 4pts per passong TD! I'm used to 6.
Start 1 extra WR.
1/2 pt per reception.
3 pt bonus at 100 rushing/receiving yards.
12 teams. This format seems to balance the WR/RB/QB better. For instance, Welker is the second most valuable player overall, mostly due to the 31 receptions (Brady is #1).

It was setup using the default scoring system which is probably pretty standard for most the FF leagues on NFL.com. Other sites such as Fox has a liitle different scoring system then the NFL one too. Maybe it should have been looked at closer and changed but whatever, it's still all about having fun regardless of an extra point or two here and there.
I have thought the defense scoring in this league was pretty weak too, that seemed to have jumped out to me from week 1.

I wasn't critisizing, just curious/comparative.
It makes no difference because everyone uses the same numbers.
And, yeah D scoring is down with all the passing and points in general being up. Giving up 30 points makes a good day out of your D nearly impossible without a TD.
I took Stafford, he was the 12th QB off the board, Belichick would've been very proud of the value that presented.

Oh, and the D scoring system is the exact same as the Yahoo default. Most of those setting are, except the passing TD. Everything else mirrors Yahoo default, the other stuff (bonus, 1/2 pt reception, extra starting WR) are tweaks the group of us have come to over the years.
