Run sets up the pass... anybody else see how that works?  Or am I still a crazy, outdated run happy fool?

In Response to Re: Pats vs Bucs Game thread : BB would probably just cut him so he could sign with a QB needy team... like the Jest's.

Despite the poor performance of the starting offense there were some real positives that came out of this game.  1, Other than the opening drive the starting defense looked very good. 2, Chandler Jones looked good again. 3. Demps showed that he's going to be a game changer. 4. Mallet continues to improve, looks like the #2 QB. 5. Ridley continues to impress, 89 yards rushing, 5.4 per carry. 6. Soldier improves over Monday nights game. The one major negative that decided the game was the lack of protection by the offensive line. It's a problem that will derail the season if not fixed but given coach Scar's history he will fix that problem. They seemed to improve some after making adjustments in the 2nd half.

glad ridley could show what he is and the potential i saw last preseason
hoyer is playing for a job elsewhere next week (or should be) i saw mallet pass him last game.

In Response to Re: Pats vs Bucs Game thread : demps is making this team as the 4th RB. that leaves two options... cut woodhead or place bolden on the practice squad. i don't see BB keeping all 5 guys and vereen isn't going anywhere as a 2nd round pick who has shown flashes. i give the nod to bolden over woodhead bc if ridley goes down bolden is the only big bodied goal line back NE has. 1. Ridley 2. vereen 3. bolden 4. demps... unfortunately for woody he doesn't contribute to special teams. bye bye woody....
