haha
Yes, a rookie making having 10 INTS and the best year of any CB in recent NFL memory is a bust. You sure a smart guy.
Explain how players who played in a SB and started under Bill Belichick, one of whom made Pro Bowls as a reserve, are "busts".
That doesn't make any sense. Not future Patriot material, with the very high bar set here, but far from busts.
Wilson doesn't start. Sanchez has a gimmick QB brought in and has been paid over 50 million bucks to be mediocre at best, taken 4th overall.
THESE are busts. The NY Busts. Catchy, isn't it? -

In Response to Re: Pats waive Flecther!!!!:In Response to Re: Pats waive Flecther!!!! : Who was that other QB with thirty wins, 4 road playoff wins, 10 fourth qtr wins and two AFC Championship games in his first three years? Who was that other HC that had two top 5 Ds, 30 wins, 4 road playoff wins, two AFC Championship games in his first three years as a HC? By your standards, it's amazing BB ever got a job after the Cleveland debacle.

We have no idea. Please don't tell us you think Mark Sanchez had anything to do with that.
Top rushing game, good D, rebuilding Pats team, allowed NY to get wildcards, one of which was a gift by the Colts.
And, to see you bragging about beating the Bengals in the playoffs? You're such a fat load joke. Let us know when a girl actually calls you on the phone. -

What insult might that be, Mr. Backpedal? How many Brady jerseys do you own? Also, how old are you?
Watching you back Mangione's game here is a disgrace. -

This is similar to what the Giants did with TE Ballard. But, as several posters have already pointed out, the rosters for most teams are already set, increasing the chances that Fletcher clears waivers: http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patriots/articles/2012/08/14/patriots_waive_injured_linebacker_dane_fletcher/?rss_id=Boston.com+--+New+England+Patriots+news
But, there appears to have been a better way to have handled this:
"...Another option for the team, and perhaps the safest option should it prefer not to risk losing Fletcher on waivers, is to keep him on the active roster until the forthcoming 75-man roster limit is imposed; by Aug. 27, all NFL teams must shave their roster down to 75 players. At this date, the Patriots would have the option to place Fletcher on injured reserve without subjecting him to waivers, and he would also not count toward the 75-man limit. This would eliminate the risk of losing Fletcher while also in effect create a roster spot to keep another player around.":

The NY Giants need help at MLB. For that reason, and for purposes of revenge, don't be surprised if they put in a claim on Fletcher. -

I did read that the Pats had 22 players not participate. I believe it is driven by this and the 3 games in 10 days
fletcher will not help this year, so if TC wants him and the salary, have at it. More cap space for the Pats -

In Response to Re: Pats waive Flecther!!!!:In Response to Re: Pats waive Flecther!!!! : First off dont say "our" fans. I am a fan of the Pats, not you. You have nothing to do with the Pats. The team is loaded then you name Carpernter and Tarpinian. One is a guy that can't stick on a team and the other is a career backup. I wouldnt be to happy with either of them in for too long.

Pipe down, dork. I'll say our fans whenever I want. You're a drama queen dork and YOU have nothing to do with the Pats, so your opinion on Carpenter or Tarpinian as quality STs backups along with Tracey White, doesn't matter.
Oh no! BB did something predictable with a loaded roster and a reserve LB with a blown out leg! I am shocked!!!
I was going to Pats games long before your unhealthy self started to pink hat in here and troll. -

No, Shenanigan, this is "bad" per Patsman3". Didn't you know it was "bad"?
Afterall, Patsman3 has spoken so positively of BB's recent drafts and player development. He's infamous for praising the development of these players here, and now all of a sudden trying to put a reserve LB through waivers with a blown out knee, is just the end of the world.

As predicted. Leave it to Patsman3 troll to be surprised BB made his move knowing teams can't afford to clip a back up LB and take up a roster spot at this point.

He made it through waivers and went on the Pats IR. Feel better now?
