    Peter Kings Fine Fifteen...

    http://mmqb.si.com/2013/12/30/aaron-rodgers-rob-chudzinski-monday-morning-quarterback/4/

BB should win Coach of the Year, hands down...

    5. New England (12-4). Think of the agonizing four losses the Patriots have had in this four-loss season … 13-6 in a torrential downpour in Cincinnati, 30-27 with that push-the-pile penalty against the Jets, 24-20 on the wrongly picked-up flag in the end zone in Carolina, 24-20 with four shots into the end zone to win in Miami. Amazing how close this team came to the best record in football with the mayhem it dealt with at the skill positions all year.

They are #5 because of the lack of faith in the D and the overall lack of personnel on the receiving corps.  IMHO, they are this high due to BB coaching this group up and having TB as your QB.

that Jets call still bothers me.....because it was only time called all season for ANY TEAM. Carolina call wasn't too far behind either.

Hopefully the Pats can score early and often in the playoffs. Not get into a close game position.

That sums up some of the frustration. Ghosts doesn't miss a FG in Miami, and we add another we win the game. #1 seed

So, instead of realizing that Pats got away with it vs the Saints you cry that they got caught cheating the second time?  Typical Pats fan.  You should be upset that BB failed to lear the rules.  Or you could just cry.  Yeah, do that. Wa Wa Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Did the article mention that they won 6 games by a total of 16 points?  What? No mention of a PI call vs the browns?  No mention of a three point win vs the Jets at home? No mention of the pushing non call vs the Saints?  I thought this guy hated BB.

Say what you will but I'm quite content where the PATS sit at the moment with what will be.....

If the bruising  running style of Blount continues and Ridley can hold on to the rock it gives Brady options we haven't seen ALL season....

Hoping Mankins becomes serviceable in the Bye-week too....Can't have that beast limping around.

I saw that and it was so striking...  The guys were saying  "NO-ONE is even CLOSE...!"

First thought... Spygate and how the league recognized this and the sh1t started.  The conspiracy to screw the best team /coach and organization in league history.  it actually started the previous year when pats were screwed in Indianapolis by the refs to hand Peyton his Super bowl and vinnitieri's 4th.  OBVIOUS...  Domination was apparent and Goodell the Jet lover and dicktator set his agenda in motion for all to see.  The story is still unfolding and it will make a great book that needs to be written by NYTimes reporter so there is no homerism... just facts.  It will get written,  sooner would be better than later since having Goodell in office while eviscerated by a tell all book would be priceless.

yeah, I'm pretty happy w/ the Patriots. They've exceeded my expectations considering all the injuries. Time to heal up as best as possible, two weeks to prepare for next opponent. Would like to see redemption vs. Bengals Laughing

13 straight winning seasons with five Superbowl appearances is an amazing and noteworthy accomplishment.  Testament to the organization and it's leadership. Must be tough to be a Jets fan to have to continue to come on this board and talk smack...while thier boys head home for the winter after celebrating another .500 season....kiss the ring.

The Jets game bothered me more than Carolina, if only because the non-call in Carolina might not have cost them the game.  They might not have scored the necessary TD at the goal line.  But the Jets game saw a missed FG that should've ended it.

As for the posts that the Pats have only won several games by a collective total of 16, well, whatever.  There are numerous arguments against this logic: 1.  That's what good football teams do---win close games on the road in clutch situations.  2.  And that's why Vegas had every one of those games closer than the actual scores.  3.  That criticism is a laughable attempt to find fault with a team that only went 50-50 on the road. They turned over the ball way too many times in those games and paid for it.  4.  Their D actually stepped up in those games and kept it close.  5.  Largest loss came to Cincy by 7.  Seven.

Bottom line, 8-0 at home, 1st round bye.  Good luck to the poor suckers that have to play this team in Gillette.

"No one is even close. . ." -- truly we as Pats fans are incredibly fortunate to have the combination of ownership, team management, coaching and quarterbacking that exists in the New England Patriots.  Amazing; positively amazing.
