    Playoff seed.

With Victory against Greenbay this week does NE wrap up the AFC East?
With Victory the following week in Buffalo does NE wrap up homefield advantage throught the playoffs?

2 Pats wins in last 3 games give us 1 seed no matter what happens anywhere else...How great to control own destiny!!!!

If we don't lose at home again, we are in the Super Bowl.  enough said.

    Re: Playoff seed.

To answer your question in a word -- "no".  The Pats could still lose the division.  If the Pats win this week vs Green Bay, but lose the next two against Buffalo and Miami, and the Jets win all three, then we lose the division because of poorer division record since both we and the Jets would be 12-4.  If we win one of the last two and lose the other two, and the Jets win all three, we would both be 12-4, both have 4-2 division records, both be 9-3 in the conference, but we would win the division because of strength of opponents (right now 14-12 for us vs. 8-17 for the Jets).

So, this week we want the Pats to win (of course) and the Jets to also win at Pittsburgh.  Then all we would need is a win over either Miami or Buffalo, or a Jets loss to either Chicago or Buffalo to wrap up the top seed overall.
