How old are these guys? I'd take them both, but aren't they well into their thirties?

They need an intimidator, McCourty is the one that will need to develop into a ballhawk. Reed isn't that guy and has had neck issues. For a guy who has been wavering on retirement, wouldn't surprise me if he retired if they won it all.
Pollard isn't a FA. He was extended for 3 more years in march

I would suggest Dashon Goldson, but he won All-Pro this year and he'll command a hefty ransome.

I suggested the same thing.
Put MCcorty back at CB.
Pollard and Reed with Spikes
would create a attitude on D.
How about James Harrison. I know
he us getting older but he is nasty.
Pollard,Spikes, Reed, Harrison, Vince
And Mr Assault Denard and we would have
some toughness on D.

Why do people want Pollard? Has anyone watched him outside the games he plays us or even in games he's plays us? Other then hurting our players he's a fringe starter like Gregory. He's horrible in coverage, would rather hit hard then wrap up and tackle, and is a locker room cancer (he's going on his 4th team in 8 years for a reason). I just want to know why people want Pollard, is it because he knocks our own players out?

We need a vetern safety and (2) cb's. If we were to get Talib and namdi the safety isn't as critical lol.
We also need a RT and a WR.

Pollard just got released by the Ravens...patriots should look to sign the heavy hitting safety!..hi mean streak is what patriots need in the defensive backfield. -

Something I dont feel comfortable with what we have now.
I know we can have a year like 2007 where we sign big name FA's but so far out team has downgraded.

Couple of things: Reed is as good as gone because the Houston owner just went to pick him up on his private jet. I doubt Reed leaves Houston and this sucks because Reed is exactly what this team needs! Secondly, Pollard is NOT terrible in coverage, he is a valuable player that would bring alot of toughness and experience to the back side of the D. He is an enforcer with a mean streak, still young, and an awesome tackler. Please get him on the phone immediately.
