Possible BB trades before the cuts

With the pats having limited 5th 6th and 7th round picks in the coming years i see a couple deals going down by the end of the month for needy teams with problems
if i was guessing id put the following players up for sale ;)
Mark LeVoir - has experience in a good system and on the bubble
conditional 7th round
James Sanders - Our good friend uncle Al is already on phone looking for a safety ... It all comes down to how Lockett Brown and Barret are progressing . Also this is Sanders last year of his contract
5th round and he is gone
Rich Ohrnberger - Same as LeVoir
condional 7th round
Brandon Deaderick - This guy actually was a diamond in the rough last year but the dog house is hard to get out off with BB ... Also he is injured so at best
Conditional 7th
Brandon Tate
injured but has shown some magic at times
6th round pick he is gone
The QB all stay in my eyes -

I don't know if peronell men would be personell men for vey long if they made some of those trades. Ohmberger was a 4th rounder..right? You can't trade a 4th roundr that never has played for a 7th. Deadric played well last year and he plays a position that is very important, what happens if he turns into a player? You traded a D tackle for a 7th. Tate was a 4th or 3rd rounder. I realize it's better to get something for nothing in a fan's eye, but the guy that help pick all these players might not feel so comfy about it. If you have to cut some and they bounce around a bit, it doesn't stick out as much. -

Everyone is dogging Tate. He might be taking a lil while to come along as a WR, but as a KR he is money! No? -

RE: Tate's KO returns- After an initial fast start he slumped and from the 2nd half of the season onward he actually finished near the bottom in KO Average.
( his overall seasonal average didnt end up that bad - but his downward spiral didnt bode well for the future ) -

After seeing Price the other night I think Tate is a goner. -

Tate's value as a KR will suffer from the new changes in KR rules...as will the value of lots of return specialists in the league.

I would put Hoyer and Edelman on the trade list. I think both of these players are on the roster bubble and could get a fair value in trade. Teams are looking for a QB and Hoyer's value is rising. Edelman is too injury prone and is not going to unseat Welker. Brace and Deadrick will be on the PUP list until week 6. This will give BB time to evaluate his current DL. White could command a 7th rounder. Merriweather will be gone by the first game. His value is high right now due to the past two pro bowl selections and a weak safety draft. He does not fit the current scheme. Chung will be a better player without him. Sanders is a better leader on the field. I picture Farnham and Butler as backups at the safety position. -

nobody would give anything for any of those players. the market will be flooded with identical players when teams make their cuts. and why give up anything for a player who is going to get cut in sept. 3 anyway? MAYBE sanders gets you a 6th or 7th, but whats the point?i do commend you for not bringing up welker's name though. that is one of the more annoying/silly topics that people on this board seem to like to discuss. almost reminds me of the trade brady talk after the cassel season. -

Chicago is very desperate for a WR! And Cutler lost an "out" in TE Greg OlsenThey do have Roy Williams and Devin Hester.....but they have many names I have never heard of! -

Wow!
I'm inclined to think it's probably just an RCH early to be talking about trading away players when we've still got a lot of camp and 3 pre-season games left.
Tate may very well have been just an intermittent flash in the pan but I'm thinking we should get a better look at Price against some heavy duty competition before casting Tate aside. I'd also like to see Tate get out there and show us where he is before exiling him. -

Right on ponyoto, I was looking for someone to say just this. With the new rules, pushing up kickoffs, there won't be that many kick off returns like we normally see. Tate's value will suffer a bit here....and this is his strength from what we seen of him so far.... -

if you look back... pats cut players (ryan ocallahan, ted larson, walsh) that teams will just wait for....and scoop up... they aint gonna trade for them but im sure BB will try before the final countdown
someone might trade for edleman but they aint tradin him... (punt returner, slot reciever)
larson is a starter now for tampa... -

I really don't see how any of the guys you listed except Hoyer and Sanders have any trade value as teams cut their rosters down. There are so many tweenie players that will be realeased and picked up for nothing. Sanders is your back up safety and won't be cut. You need bigger names if you want teams to actually make trades. -

Perhaps not.
But perhaps they would.
The whole purpose of making a trade before cutdown is to insure you get the player in question. Just because a team cuts a player is no guarantee you'll get him. Other teams could have an interest in them, and make them a better offer, or an earlier offer.
I've seen it happen lots of times over the years.
Just because you deem them worthless doesn't mean others follow your line of thinking.
That's the point.
