Can't say that I'm pleased with our defense in the second half.
The pressure has been there - the coverage has been there. But when it counts on 3rd down, they've never come together.
Credit to Carson and the Bengals WRs. Carson has made some tough throws under pressure, and the receivers have made some tough catches.
Still though, I argue that the score should be 38-17. That pass on the Bengals first drive of the second half was clearly picked off by Meriweather.

For a guy that was on the field the whole game he did next to nothing and looks like he is really struggling mentally with his coverages and reads. He's always the last guy moving after the snap and just isn't around the play anywhere near enough.

I'll take a win any day and especially with a young D. The D didn't allow the big play so I'm pleased with that and I'm really impressed with Chung, McCourty and Butler. Pats have work to do when it comes to blitzing, but hey it's week 1

I have to imagine the D intentionally played softer the second half. They proved themselves first half. Palmer made a lot plays on the run and Ocho Cinco kept them in it. Overall our D looks F'in awesome.

Well called game so far, but that's a terrible decision.
Gostkowski has struggled, let him get some confidence back.
