I say get him . I know he's small, but he can get open deep. 1300 yards is 1300 yards. It gives   Brady more options. He will get released unless the jets fear the pats are in on him ,and give up a pick. I have this feeling IF he is released the pats are going to get him. Not at 10.3 but maybe at 7-8m . If BB wants him he will get him.I don't care about his attitude BB can handle him.. Chip Kelly rookie coach a very good coach though had a hard time I guess. Plus if he's released maybe like the Revis contract. One and done. But I think the pats will extend revis down the line as well.

Jackson's name should never be envoked with the likes of Randy Moss or Dillion, he ain't in their league.

Jackson's "talent" is spotty and his bagage ain't worth spotty talent.

Use the money where it's actually needed and that being the the O and D lines.

The breaking news, reported here yesterday by forum cap/contract guru, the bean queen, is that DJ has a contract with the Eagles worth so much money that the Eagles not only will not be able to keep him on the roster this year due to their 16 mil of space in cap hell, but they will not entertain anything lower than a 4th round pick and would prefer to cut him outright than accept a 5th rounder.

Yes, which is why other teams are using that leverage but obviously it allows JAckson to choose where he goes.

It's the right move.  Teams should not reward others for bloated contracts from a cap hell.

    Yes... there it is again

We'll they took a chance on Haynesworth, who was prob the laziest PO.S I've ever seen.

Jackson is an elite talent. dynamic returner and receiver...How is 1300 yards with a second year QB not spectacular?

However, he's not worth however much the Jets are willing to offer him....he's also not worth a long term deal just because he's already 27 and primarily a speed guy.

I have no idea what his baggage is. Must be bad enough to get him released, but not bad enough to get him suspended.

His talent would help the team, but the resources used to get him would take away the resources needed to patch up the lines...and football is still own and lost at the line of scrimmage
