Questioning Belichik's Strategy

As we Know Bill is always looking several steps ahead. With CBA set to expire after next season. 2010 will be an uncapped year. The final 8 teams will be severely restricted in signing free agents. Players with less than 6 years service can not become unrestricted FA's. Teams are allowed to not only Franchise a player but also a transition player.Maybe Bill realized he didn't have the talent to win it all even with Seymour. Trading for a 2011 pick when there should be a rookie saalry cap in place.Maybe it won't take so long to rebuild.
