You're really not a Pats fan.
Miami has little chance to influence the playoff picture.
New England has Oakland's 1st round pick next year. The worse they finish the higher the pick. And if it's high enough Bill B will trade it and get 3 or 4 picks back in return. -

The first round pick the Pats got from the Raiders for Seymour presently look to be somewhere between the twelfth and seventeenth pick.

Miami isn't going anywhere? The Pats are 9-2 and Miami is 6-5. The Pats could finish 9-7 or 10-6 and Miami could be 11-5.
The Raiders draft pick will be three players like the Bledsoe trade brough the Pats four or the Cassel/Vrabel trade brought two and picks. NOT. -

If the Pats blow a 3 game lead with 5 to play, they don't deserve to be in the playoffs.
