    Reasonable Expectations

What is reasonable to expect today?

Sacks 2 to 4? Do not know much about the Bills O-line and we don't know how mobile Manuel will be today coming off a "procedure" 2 weeks ago.

Rushing yards for thr Pat's? 120- 150? Seems like a good match-up for the o-line today. Bills d-line likes to get upfield they don't seem to sturdy at the point of attack.

Points Against 10 - 14? just don't see the weapons except for spiller. Stevie Johnson needs someone to get him the ball and Manuel in his first start doesn't seem like this a possibility.

    Re: Reasonable Expectations

I expect the Pats to have over 200 yards rushing. Brady to throw 30 times maybe 275, 2 tds. The play action will be working and the end of the game will be on the ground eating clock. I'd like to see a couple ints and a couple sacks  I dont see the Bills scoring more then 14, but they always play us tough like the fins.

Now you got the easy part done telling me about it.

Does that handshaped bruise on your back hurt?

    Re: Reasonable Expectations

Honestly, I expect the Bills to score between 17-24 points...not even because our defense is bad or anything, but because it's the Patriots first time facing Manuel and I feel that week 1 favors offenses more.

Can someone remind me....how "good" is the Bills O-Line? I'm just wondering because if they are considered good, then this will be a good test for the D-Line.

Here is what I posted on another thread..

CJ held to under 80 yards and Steve Johnson held to under 50 yards.

Pats sack EJ Manuel 5 times, 1 of them is a fumble recovered by the Pats

Pats win 37 (including a safety) - 20 (give up a garbage time TD)..

If I had to put my finger on it:

    • 350+ passing yards
    • <300 passing yards against
    • 100+ rushing yards
    • ~100 rushing yards against
    • 25+ points
    • <20 points against
    • 1 turn over for each team
    • 2-4 sacks for each team

    +3 TD point differential
    +200 yds rushing for Pats

<200 yds total O for Buf

    3 sacks NE D

    In response to ATJ's comment:

    +3 TD point differential
    +200 yds rushing for Pats

<200 yds total O for Buf

    3 sacks NE D

With the exception of the 3 sacks, those all seems like big predictions.
