I found myself wondering the other day what are all the records that the patriots hold as a team, and recrods that have been establisehed by players while playing here. Here were some I could think of off the otp of my head:
go 16-0 in a regular season
win 18 games in a row/in a season
TWO longest winning streaks in NFL history
one of few teams to win 3/4 superbowls
one of the biggest superbowl upsets in history(rams 01-02)
belicheck has one of the best winning percentages in the regular season/post season with the patriots
rodney harrison, only player with 30 sacks/ints
vinny testaverde, threw a touchdown in his record 17th consecutive season with the patriots
ty law caught more passes for more yards from peyton manning than marvin harrison in the div game or afc champ game (cant remember which)
brady, most tds season
moss, most td recptions season
most points scored in a season
most tds in a season
branch/welker hold the receptions in a super bowl record
brady/manning are the only players in history to beat all other 31 teams in the NFL
i think it was david patten that scored the cycle against indy in 2003 or 2004 (td reception, pass, and run). all three were one play scoring drives. walter payton was the only other player to do this before him
willie mcginest holds the record for sacks in the post season
doug flutie was the last player to score a dropkick
any others?
