He honestly doesn't have so much mileage. Typically I hate these ideas, but that could be a fit of NEs roster wasn't already jammed.

If they get a running back I'd rather see them try and strike a deal for Tashard Choice.

No. Deal Maroney and Mankins to Washington for Hanyesworth and plop Haynesworth here at RDE.

That's what I have been saying since draft... this guy needs a fresh start and we could really use him.  He has already been paid a bulk of his contract, which leaves little to be risked on our end.

A fresh start?  He's only been in Washington for a year.  The problem is is that Haynesworth only plays up to his ability when his contract comes up.  He becomes an absolute beast that nobody can stop.  Then silence.  His reputation is based on the two contract years he had.  He wore his welcome out in Tennessee and now in Washington.  What makes folks think he'll work here?  It's not just about the NT position either.

By change of pace do you mean a back that can actually run and gain some yards and play all 16 games?

In Response to Re: Redskins release Willie Parker. Fit? : It is pretty tempting.  Trade for Haynesworth, sign Jarvis Green cheap, sign or trade for an extra veteran CB. Would really sure up some spots.

Sure got nothing to loose, it's not our money and besides it grows on trees in the NFL...take the chance. Worst case he's a headache, and you end up cutting him.

Parker is cooked...no longer "Fast" Willie Parker.  He was a 2 down guy with Pitt as well.  Also, Shanahan cut him.

Re: Redskins release Willie Parker. Fit?

If the Pats wanted Parker they would've signed him in the offseason.  The HB performance didn't warrant a flier back then and nothing has changed since.
