Brady Quinn, that is! Hope I didn't scare anyone with that title!
ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported on NFL 32 that free agent Brady Quinn will likely end up with the Jets.
Per Mortensen, the Jets plan to sign two free-agent quarterbacks. Quinn has history with new Jets QBs coach David Lee, who "likes (Quinn) a lot." New York will reportedly bring five quarterbacks to training camp, not including Tim Tebow. In this scenario, Quinn, Mark Sanchez, Greg McElroy, and Matt Simms would account for four, and they'd add one more free-agent veteran to the mix. Feb 27 - 5:50 PM
--------------------
So much for the Jets bringing in competition for Sanchez. The Jets to get rid of one QB that can't throw to bring in another one who can't throw. Talk about handling Mark Sanchez with kid gloves. Sanchez must have some dark secrets on Rex or Woody because for some reason they just won't replace Sanchez or push him to become better. Looks like another easy road to winning the division for the Patriots!

TD/int ratio of 8:2. Only problem with that is it's 8 picks to 2 TDs. So clearly he can throw; he just makes a habit of throwing it to the other team. I can see why the Jets would find him of interest.

Makes sense, you want a backup that plays a similar style as the starter. They're both lousy, underachieving, overhyped QBs who rattle easily and throw a lot of picks. Almost indistinguishable really. The team will have no issues adjusting.

Is it so wrong to pick on such a brainless and incompetent organization? It just feels so damn good.

That would be Matt Cassell.
The NYJ... Land of the mis-fit QB.

He sat behind Tebow in Denver. Not exactly a ringing endorsement.

Very true! Plus Tebow actually has some other football talents, Quinn doesn't have much anything else.

Am I the only one that thinks both Quinn and Tebow are better than Sanchez?
For me it comes down to turnovers. Fumbles and Ints especially the key times of the game.
A turnover is usually work 40-50 yards of field position and is like giving the team a sucker punch to the gut. No QB is as bad as Sanchez in this department.
The fact that he is a marginally better passer than these two does not make up for the turnovers.

Rusty: yeah but at least Quinn hasn't imploded in the playoffs like Brady has...as long as Tom Brady isn't under center and is telling bellichick he must be in shotgun I would rather have Brady Quinn

In response to WeDerrWEBACK's comment:
Look on the bright side, you could possibly have 3 quarterbacks who were selected in the First Round.
Now, the fact that the 3 of these goons would be better off in the CFL is irrelevant. Enjoy!
