And yet last week you kept saying how the Jets have to trade Revis only to be schooled by me in the unlikleyhood of that happening... why? For the exact reason that you are now yapping about.  What a complete tool you are.

It still makes sense to trade Revis despite the dead money because they will incur 3/4 of it if he walks after next season.  If he does walk they will probably get something like a 3rd round pick in compensation.  If they can get more than that now (there are rumors Revis could garner a 1st round pick and maybe even a conditional pick in addition) why wouldn't you?  Of course Rex doesn't want this to happen because he recognizes correctly that he is gone after this season if the team doesn't improve, but that isn't Idzik's concern.

Mia76, you are so obsessed with the Jets and their downfall!  How dare you take pleasure in their plight and salary cap hell posiition?!  We have been told here by Jay Shizzles to not start Jets based threads!

Afterall, we have been told by Mt Hurl and RKrap that the cap is irrelevant, the Pats are in the same position as the Jets, because the cap is "fluid" and writing bad checks is not a big deal at all!

Contracts can be restructuted over a "cup of coffee" and people will just take paycuts to stay in a glorious situation with the Jets, because afterall, the Jets GM role is a "dream job".

Just think, bby Tuesday NYJs will be "30 million" under the cap even though 10 starters currently take up 100 million of the 122 million dollar cap. Gee, Idzik looks to have some work to do between now and Tuesday.

The Jets having to trade Revis, their best chip, while they can't trade Sanchez or Tebow, and these not bad signs at all within their cap hell. Mt Hurl told us this. All is well for the Jets!

Meh, Rexy will just put on an extra pot of coffee and start calling players into his office.

yes, first time head coaches with winning records, multiple championship games generally get fired.  Somehow the Revisless Jets had a top pass D in 2012, yet your claim is that missing him would be their demise, as opposed to say 20some turnovers from the QB position.  You really are a student of the game.

The Jets were always well behind in games, so teams ran on that putrid 26th rated run D, while ahead.

Jets beatwriter, Rich Cimini, made this astute point about the Jets supposed great pass D which allowed far more points than NE's D.

    LMAO

Enjoy Kyle Wilson on the outside and overpaying Daddy of the Year Cromartie. bawhaha

Hey, rememeber that time you claimed that the patsies pass D gave up few TDs than the Jets pass D?  That was awesome.  Problem is, the patsies pass D gave up 30% more passing TDs.  Queenie caught lying again.  So pathetic.

No response Queenie?  Just make something up.  That's your M.O.

be easy on Queenie...deep down he knows the only reason Bellichick looks like such a cap genius is mainly because he has Tom Brady and plays in the AFC Easy for the past decade (no offense phat but jets bills and dolphins have been basically inept forever outside of an odd year here and there)

and then deep down in that lonely place in the dark he also knows Bellichick learned how to draft and coach from Bill Parcells (and George Young) and that the "Patriot Way" is really the Parcells Way, which drives him up a wall...so go easy on ol' Queenie
