Neal, be real. He's just doing the right thing. Complaining about this just cheapens the legit complaints about Rexy's big yap.

What a deflection attempt here to make sure the media goes easy on him:

"I care about our players a great deal," he said. "They need that time to be with their families and make sure everybody is out of harm’s way. As much as I’d like to bring them in, that’s not going to happen. I care about our players too much to see them go through that, so they will not be in."

Oh, isn't that nice, Rex.  Good thing your team mouthed off all week again and lost again. Great leadership. Are you going to tuck every player in tonight, too?

as opposed to bellichick who would have them on the road during a hurricane?

Not only would he have them on the road, he would send them home if they arrived to practice late, as we witnessed not so long ago.

    How's 3-5 treating you fatboy?

It's a huge storm and he is doing the right thing. Grow up.

Re: Rex Cares About His Players

I don't know how I feel about Rex - part of me hates him and part of me enjoys some of his crap. He's not a bad coach...if you can win games with Sanchez as your QB, you have some talent. I don't like how he always focuses on us and brings all this crazy media attention to his team, but I wouldn't mind him being my defensive coordinator.
