If Jests ownership had any balls they would cut the whole team & dismantle the embarrassment of a franchise.
Case in point about idiot Patriot fans.  Yet they only ban RustyBunkerTebowperv?  You'd think they'd ban all morons at once.

Did little fatty-whatty rex go crying to the mods like a punk? Typical reaction from the troll that tries to dish it out but can't take it. Not much of a man are you? Oh, wait, are you a chick? Now it's all starting to make sense why your panties are all bunched up. ;-)

    Note to Rex,

It ain't as easy as you thought. Nor as hard as you think. Simply take a knee, pucker your lips and kiss the ring. Or perhaps you can take a page out of one of your predesessors book and call your team together and recite the following... Hello, you play to win the game, you play, to win, the game. A diatribe at a press conference that helped to rally a Jet's team that was then 2-5 and left for dead to rally together and finish the season on a run, that ended with them making the playoffs. If you can't rally the troops perhaps you can give Herm a call? I'm sure that for a nominal fee he'd be happy to set-up a seminar for you and your coaching staff on how to elicite support from your team leaders...

As you're driving down the road to ruin, with what is at best a mediocre football team. A team that you are responsible for building, with control over all of the personnel decisions. You may want to take a step back and ask yourself a simple question. What's more important to a teams long term success, the head coach or the starting quarterback?

No worries, I'm pretty sure that someone will offer you a D-coordinators job next year....

Re: Rex Ryan and the Jets 2012 season

Revis is not why the Jet's are not good... the #5 pick in the 2009 draft is the reason the Jet's are not good.
Don't under estimate the cause and effect that losing Revis has had on the Ryan's defense. With Revis and Cromartie, rarely did they have to double the outside recievers. Both are very good press coverages guys, that have the ability to single cover most recievers. Which frees up the strong safty to help support the run..Which allows Ryan to blitz his linebackers and safties knowing that the outside guys are covered. In the end the success and failure of teams ability to execute a game plan rest on it's personnel. Sans Revis it opens up both sides of the field for the opposing quarterback...

The reason the Jet's aren't good is due to a coach not adjusting the game plan to suit the skillset of his players. A coach that thinks that it's defenses job to wins games and the offenses job is not to lose them. However given the current roster, he doesn't have the play makers on defense to shut down teams and doesn't have the weapons on offense to consistantly run the ball to shorten games..aside from his tightend once they fall behind it's not like they can open it up and light up the scoreboard....

Is Sanchez is part of the problem? Or are the Jets and their fans simply expecting too much from a guy that has yet to show that he's anything more than a game manager? Who in fairness to him isn't exactly surrounded by a ton of quality skill players. If indeed the Jets are supposed to be a ground and pound offense. Then why would you open the season with only 1 quality big back (Greene)? A back who after now 3 years, has yet to show that he can stay healthy and endure the rigors of a 300 plus carries in a season?

In the end it's a flawed roster and that falls at the feet of Ryan...

"Yes, whining about busts like McCourty make me feel better."

    Pretty sad PRex, sad indeed.

The bummer for you is that in today's NFL, without something close to a franchise QB you just aren't going to compete. And it is seeming more and more clear Sanchez is not that guy. The worst thing is he teased you with some early accomplishments, but now he is going backwards, fumbling balls off his helmet and so on.

It's hard to imagine your coash weathering this, we'll see. At any rate, years of mediocre performance are ahead of you. Perhaps that is why you are here?

What is it like visiting the forum of another team's fans - a more successful team - and trying to nitpick? Seems a sad and desperate undertaking to the rest of us here.

The best part of this is Vernon Coples is running around in a Jets uniform with a god awful D on the field alongside Kylie Wilson, a guy who also does nothing on the field who was taken in the same draft as Pro Bowler, Devin McCourty.

But, only McCourty is the bust according to Phat Rex.

    Cannot be made up.
McCourty is a bust.  The only teams that are like his skills are the teams that are going to abuse him for massive yards and touchdowns.
