The funniest comment has to be the 8th one down-

“I didn’t see the game” is not something I’ve heard from many HCs

    In response to russgriswold's comment:

Gomer had a broken neck and NE was rebuilding through the draft.

When did the Pats rebuild through the draft?

    In response to russgriswold's comment:

2010-2012.  They had the most picks of any franchise going into those drafts in that 3 year span.

If you were a real fan, you'd know this.  BB had 2 picks in EACH of the 1st 3 rds of 2010 alone, well regarded as the deepest in 25 years.

The lockout post 2010 was looming, which is why this strategy was a slam dunk decision.  Wait for the market to settle, a rookie cap, etc.

    Brilliant.

They went 14-2, 13-3 and 12-4.  They played in the Superbowl one year and also made it to the conference championship another.

That's not rebuilding.  That is you trying to cover up for your buddy Bill getting beat by Ryan in the playoffs.  Rebuilding teams don't go 14-2.  Rebuilding teams don't play in the Superbowl.  Ever.

More lies from you.  No one is surprised.
