The only thing bigger than his stomach is his mouth. I say we just call him FATTY. -

I think SHREX could get some media traction.
Fatbastard or Sh--thead isn' gonna be aired on espn as fitting as it is. -

Around 4pm Sunday, when the NY fans and media start to blame Rex and his pregame trash psychobabble for this and all future losses to the Pats, he becomes known forever as "Hex Ryan"

I can't see anything that cuts it yet. The name isn't easy for inventing a good disparaging nickname, need to do it based on his looks or father and his loud mouth.
He does look like a stupid younger Parcells. - Tiny BigMouth Tuna? -

Leon is moving into Rex's belly button nest week. He's the ultimate Jets fan you know. Likes to be as close to the team as posible. -

He once tried to jump in the air, but got stuck.
These are all good nicknames, but what about just plain LEON? Each time I read one of his posts I picture Rex Ryan for some reason. -

Cryin Ryan... if it fits.
I like:
Shrek and Shrex and Jumbo Jet as well.
again.... Dumbo if it fits... lets see a few clock mismanagements or bone-head challenges or over aggresive 4th down attempts first -

of the choices given i like rexcrement, but jumbo jet could be a dark horse in the nick name race -

It's going to be a tough choice, maybe we should start working on Sanchez, too :-)

i'll be honest...Rex is one of the greatest defensive minds to coach in the NFL (up there with BB and Jimmy Johnson) and deserves the right to act like one as a head coach. He clearly has the same fire as a head coach that his players have on the field playing defense. I am envious of that fire as of late, to be honest.
So he talked some smack....who cares. It's not like Mangina who poached our players and ratted on his peers....and cheated! The guy comes in as a head coach and all he hears is how he's going to deal with BB and the Pats. I'd be upset too if no one focused on me and my team. He meant no disrespect to our coach or our team, as he cleared up recently. In my book, he's a good guy.
How about we see how they perform and how he does as a coach for a season before we start throwing around nicknames? -

Since Rex invented the term, I think it's absolutely appropriate.
Rex Ryan's stomach is "swagger-licious". "...and a swaggering belly that shook when he walked, like a bowl full of jelly"
Rex Ryan is "Mister Swagger-Licious". -
