In Response to I CANNOT believe this...what are your opinions:
I just watched a video clip where Rex Ryan is asking the Jets fans to help him out this weekend and make sure they come prepared to distract the Pats. You know make a lot of noise and all. etc. He actually made a video posting asking for the fans help. Wow!! now that is low. BB would NEVER do that. He even asked for their help in distracting Brady etc. The video clip had you tube on it and the article was in the usa today sports sec. Post what you all think of his antics.

To save time, I'm recycling a post that I made on ESPN.com's article here:

"In 1995, Pittsburgh Steelers coach Bill Cowher was sent letters of reprimand by the NFL for begging fans to be rowdy at key games. He made the pleas during televised news conferences."

If only we could do something like that at Gillette country club... I remember clanging metal seats and screaming fans who always forced QB's to take timeouts in big situations at Foxboro Stadium, but I can only remember a few select occasions, and only in the playoffs, where Gillette country clubbers forced timeouts.

I love this story, and it's 100% truth: It was 3rd and goal after Matthew Slater fumbled the kickoff against the Steelers, and they were about to go up 20-10, and I think every serious football fan knew that Cassel would be hard-pressed to come back from two down against a defense as talented as the Steelers. We stood and screamed (but DIDN'T SWEAR) - and we were promptly pushed and shoved by the man behind us and called various names for having the tenacity to cheer for our team with the game on the line. We were told that we shouldn't be standing more than half of the time...

This is the state of Patriots fans, and it would be refreshing to see more than 10% of fans (stop and count for yourself sometime) cheering at any given time, albeit highly unlikely.

I don't blame Rex Ryan one bit.

Ryan is so contadictory. He's not here to kiss BB's rings, but he is completely consumed by thought of him. He's like a stalker or something.

His wish for crowd noise will come true at the end of the first half as he waddles off the field with a police escort.

You do know that the flooding the field accusation carries as much weight as the Colts piping in extra sound, right?
