    Re: Rob Ninkovich?!

hate to see him get hurt but at least it isn't his knee. BB has built such a deep team that it wont hurt much. Nink has played very well, hopefully he makes it back in a couple of weeks.

Too bad for Nink and us - he was playing solid. I do like what Scott seems to bring whenever he comes in, plus we just got Cunningham back....so who knows? I'm not a big Nink fan, but I feel bad for him...it looked like a knee to me and if so this will be his third.

They said hip. Did you see something else?

Nope, but when he was on the ground it looked like he was pointing to his knee to the trainer...left one. Who knows? Would a hip cause him to do that? I don't know, maybe.

It's a hip, dude. It's been reported. Don't be ignorant again.

Oh good, I'm glad the accuracy of the injury has already been reported - the Patriots must of gotten some new doctors - they usually aren't this quick with these things. And it's good that they're going to be so forthcoming as well!!

It's been reported and corroborated multiple times.  Your ignorance is unreal.  Please tell us where you teach so we can have you arrested for child endangerment (and likely other things including kiddie porn).

It also has been "reported' that he was on the ground grabbing his left knee...just like the whole world saw who was watching. What's the big deal? It looked like his knee, it's been reported -during the game - that it was a hip. One time during a game it was reported that a player had a lower body injury. I hope it is his hip, opposed to his knee, because the chances of it being of the Rosevelt Colvin/Bo Jackson variety seem slim (and he didn't go off in a cart).

Why don't you stick to things like trying to convince Mike Lombardi that it's a good idea to trade Brady after he throws his second interception of the season? Or that Ocho Cinco would of been great here if it weren't for Brady being so selfish. Or that we would go further if we only had Alex Smith leading (and managing!!) our offense.

Did your blow up doll ask you to get her ear plugs for Christmas?

    Oh my god.

Did teenie bopper moron Bdbreu just tell the board that corroborating the FACT it was Nink's hip and not his leg, that it was "drivel"?

    I mean. What on earth?

You two (Hurlie and Bdbreu) are Josef Goebells wet dream!  Holy shitte.

NEWSFLASH: The fact that it's his hip doesn't means it's not a fact because you want it to be what you want it to be.

    SEEK HELP

You stressed out or something? Lombardi not returning your e-mails?

I really don't see what the problem is with wondering if it was his knee...he was grabbing his knee...he was pointing to his knee...he has had two knee injuries already in his career...the trainer grabbed his left knee and extended it in and out. It's not as if I'm coming on here saying we should trade Brady after the Cardinal's game...like you:)

So does anyone have an update?

I just hope the bye means that Dennard and Talib are both healthy for a playoff run. They are the keys to it being a long run...

He will be back... i bet is something like Talib`s hip.

we can win wituout him in 2 weeks... let him rest and bring him back VS denver at Milehigh

3 weeks for a hip is a good time table.

if it is, time varies. ive had several. can be 2-3 weeks to much longer depending on severity.

I believe some that say knee will end up being correct....Nink is pretty tough and he looked like he was hurting really bad.

It was reported as a hip . . . but the Pats are never very helpful when it comes to providing details about injuries, so who knows for sure.  We'll just have to wait and see.

I just hope it was a Talib type hip pointer that hurt real bad in the cold weather.  If it's not, it may be a Rosie Colvin thing which would suck.

With Belichick and a bye week, we won't know for at least a week, unless he puts him on IR.

Too bad for Nink but if he's out,  look for much better DL play from Francis, Cunningham, Scott.

Nink has played out of position, he's a LB, and it shows.

I got to say that I think Francis has earned a starting spot before Scott. He is much more valuable. He's better against the run and he can play both inside and outside. Scott is a 3rd down specialist, I believe thePats would be better leaving him there.

I don't want to act like he didn't have a great year when he did, but Trevor Scott is a better player. I hope he doesn't miss the rest of the year because he's earned it, but I'd still rather have Scott out there.

Ninkovich isn't a real 4-3 DE, there's a reason why he couldn't get a job anywhere at that position. He's best suit as a 4-3 OLB, but Mayo and Hightower already have that locked.

If he was a better player he would have started over him.

See BenJarivus Green-Ellis over Stevan Ridley in the playoffs last year and tell me again in Belichick always goes with the better player or if he goes with the player he trusts more.

Ummm - and how do you separate the two? If a RB cant take care of the ball then he is not as good a player. BB didnt want to take that chance. It was too bad but I cant blame him.

It is like asking the question would you sit a QB who throws too many ints or play him because he is a "better player"? The question really doesnt make much sense. Not protecting the ball is a key part of what makes a player better or worse.
