    Ron Erhardt passes

I just read via a Mike Lombardi tweet that Coach Ron Erhardt passed away today. I remember when he replaced Chuck Fairbanks when he bolted. Erhardt was a good man and he will be missed. RIP

He was put into a tough spot by the Sullivans in NE after Fairbanks left.  Arguably his best moments came when he left for the Giants.

    RIP.

    Re: Ron Erhardt passes

Ron Erhardt inherited perhaps the most talented group of Patriots players prior to 2000.

QB Steve Grogan 26 yrs old
    FB Sam Cunningham 29
    WR Stanley Morgan 24
    TE Russ Francis 26
    LG John Hannah 28
    FB Mosi Tatupu 24
    LILB Steve Nelson 28
    LCB Raymond Clayborn 24
    RCB Mike Haynes 26
    FS Tim Fox 26
    NT Ray Hamilton 28

They were a fun group to watch but they could never seem to put it all together.

A good guy and a good coach.

Any coach who can put together a good team with the Sullivans as owners has to be a good coach.

Anybody who could tolerate working for the Sullivans for all those years has to be a good guy.

While you're busy bashing Billy take a minute to realize he brought you the NFL which had failed in Boston a few times before. It's always the same old same old from certain suspects here.
