Wow 41 points and Brady still stunk in some people's eyes.
41 points TWICE against one of the best D's in the NFL.

Lots of shotgun spread, lots of subbing of running backs, 41 pass plays, Ridley with just five carries in first half. Must have been a loss.
40 passes or less is preferred, as we all know. But, you keep rooting for a loss, dribbly.
Did you go to the game tonight? Flight already landed in Toronto, huh?
We saw it again tonight, why and what actually works.
How is this even debatable?!! THe arrogance of a Washer like ZBellino to try to troll with Prolate is sick. Absolutely sick!
Everyone in the room tonight, 3 of whom arent even Pats fans, saw how RIdley made a difference.
Jesus! Woodhead can't run in between the tackles!
Seriously?
LOL!!
You Washers are sick. There is a reason why Brady wasn't good early in this game. Shotgun/finesse spread.
New England Patriots at 4:29HOUNWE 1st and 10 at NE 35 S.Ridley right guard to NE 49 for 14 yards (B.James). 1st and 10 at NE 49 S.Ridley left guard to NE 47 for -2 yards (B.James). 2nd and 12 at NE 47 T.Brady pass short right to S.Ridley to HST 40 for 13 yards (C.Barwin). 1st and 10 at HOU 40 (Shotgun) T.Brady pass short right to S.Vereen to HST 15 for 25 yards (D.Manning). 1st and 10 at HOU 15 (Shotgun) T.Brady pass short left to A.Hernandez to HST 1 for 14 yards (B.Ruud; J.Joseph). 1st and 1 at HOU 1 (No Huddle) S.Vereen left tackle for 1 yard, TOUCHDOWN. 3 6 S.Gostkowski extra point is GOOD, Center-D.Aiken, Holder-Z.Mesko. 3 7 S.Gostkowski kicks 74 yards from NE 35 to HST -9. D.Manning, Touchback
He had nothing to do with the win, outside of running the ball late.
This is just pathetic. Really. A sad attempt at defending an indefensible position.

It's pretty weak that after 8 weeks it's not healed. Not sure who to blame there but mother nature. It might be a blessing in disguise where they run it more anyway. As great as Gronk is, there's a reason why they haven't missed a beat without him.
1. NE's D has been great.
2. They are forced to run it more vs trying to hit Welker and Gronk.

I'll share. Brady's play was marginal. Look, when the defense is stopping the opposition entirely, it is not difficult for one of the best QB's in the league to turn in a decent performance. When Tom Brady's team is challenged, he's a different, less effective player.
Thank Belichick.
Help.

Newsflash: The D held on the first drive and held again and again and the offense was AWFUL in the shotgun spread until turning to Ridley.
Ridley and a non-pass based offense helped win this game, you moron. They ran it with Ridley and Vereeen with HManui in-line to block. The difference was blatantly obvious, but you imbeciles want him 40+? LMAO
Keep shopping at Walmart, Corky.
Jesus christ. Even when we all see it, your arrogance continues. What do you teach? Why are our fans who are teachers here so arrogant? Anyone know?
I have got to hand it to you junior. Every time I think you have reached the pinnacle as a football talk circus clown, you spew some inane blather that tops it. Apparently there is no upper limit to your denseness.

It's a balance, but we lost a SB last year because Brady wanted to run that shotgun base crap with Woodhead.
No junior. We had a major league D tonight. Last year's was mickey mouse club. Learn the game.

I know dude. He is a liar. I am literally going to cut and paste the entire game. Ridley saw the field five or six times in the first few quarters.

Z. In case you haven't noticed, junior is our funny little clown here. You can't take his foolishness seriously. Just inform him from time to time about his most grievous instances of cluelessness. You know, just in case some unsuspecting reader might accidentally take him seriously.

I find it rather amusing to read all this.
According to what I'm reading, Brady apparently gets to do whatever he wants and run that "shotgun\finesse" spread at his own whim.
Except when it gets down to being the last two minutes of any half--like last night when the Pats had the ball with something like 1:15 or 1:30 on the clock and two time-outs, and just decided to play dead and do nothing. That was all Josh's fault for making conservative calls and playing it too safe.
