Same as last year Patsy fans....

Yeah, I know...... Lucky Jets!   Sounds like last year.....  What you guys dont get is that without elite qb like Brady, Rex has built gritty team that never quits.  Just accept it,  teams dont just get LUCKY this often and you guys better pray Pats don't have to get past jets in win or done situation again.....  C'mon admit it, you agree if your being honest.....

I give the Jets credit, but you can't act like Romo didn't choke

a fumble inside the 5-yard line on the field goal that gives Dallas 27 points?

the world's most boneheaded interception to Revis?

not being ready for the snap when driving for the game-tying field goal?

come on!  the jets played great at the end, but Romo choked, HARD (and so did the Cowboys' punt team, where I was always taught never to surrender an inside gap for any reason whatsoever, let alone have both guards abandon the A Gaps on a punt and give up a block right up the middle instead of making the punt block team run the long way around... also the punter took FOREVER to get that punt off)

So, you think that you know that it was Romo's fault on the snap, not the center?  Were you wearing the headset and knew what the count was?  Amazing how easy it is to say that a guy shouldn't have fumbled when he got hit by a guy that had 100 lbs on him when scrambling to try to get some more time.  Ridiculous.

if ANYONE should know the snap count, it should be the QUARTERBACK

And you still haven't explained the fumble at the 3 yard line or the interception on a pass to a clearly-injured receiver and blanket coverage

or how his fumble on a certain scoring opportunity and an interception deep in his own territory resulted in a 17+ point swing (the Cowboys lose a guaranteed field goal, the Jets score a touchdown on a 90+yd drive, and get a field goal)

Well, if anyone should, it should be the center, but that's not the point.  You are assuming that it was Romo's fault and you do not know that.  It could have been the center.
You want to pretend that this play should not have happened becasue it was at a crucial point, but every other play should have happened, Sanchez' pick or his fumble, dropped passes, missed picks.  It doesn't work like that.  Both teams made great plays and made big mistakes.  If it weren't for Romo's 350/ 2 Tds the Cowboys are not ahead where they can fumble or throw a pick to lose the game.  It's a complete package, we don't get to pick and choose.  You don't get to not include a missed tackle, a fumble, a blocked punt etc.

you do get to choose if you find a new QB

Romo is clearly flawed.  he just gave you the lead AND blew the game

but right now he's masquerading as a guy who can be the center of your game plan for the ful 60 minutes when he goes 50 minutes and chokes

as Sanchez and the Jets have demonstrated, if you KNOW AND ACCEPT your QB's weaknesses, you can build your team and your game plans around them.  Notice how Sanchez never throws further than 25 yards?  Coincidence?  But their cap space is spent on defense, big linemen, and runningbacks (and now a big receiver and a pass-tacthing tight end who Sanchez can just toss the ball up for)

But the Cowboys leaned on Romo for the full 60 minutes and he came up 5 minutes short.  You can't adjust your whole team to the idea that your stat-sheet-filling QB is going to choke at the end of every key game in every big moment.

The bad snap was the rookie Costa's fault. Rook nerves.

It was the Jets first trap coverage with Pool over the top of Revas and Romo didn't go through any progressions, eyeing the Cowboy receiver all the way. INT!

Let us not forget that Sanchez threw for 335 himself.

Sanchez played well when it mattered most, though he continues to be worryingly innacurate and skiddish early in games.  A more buttoned down offense could bury them before he has time to settle down.  But at the end of the day the Jets won, so there's really not much to talk about.  Romo on the other hand is clearly not the answer, he seems like an amateur in the 4th quarter.

This was the Tony Romo horror show! Nothing more nothing less! Even a novice football fan such as yourself could see that not protecting the ball the way Romo did on the fumble at the three yard line was just complete ineptness. A quality QB would have gone to the ground and let the field goal kicker come and make a chip shot. Thus putting the Cowboys up by 10 points with less than 7 minutes to play. Romo blew it and this lose is on his head.

This happens every year. A team wins a game they had no right to win. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. Tonight the Jets were lucky and I'm sure Rex will acknowledge that fact tomorrow. The Cowboys found a way to lose. This may have been Tony Romo's signature moment! Whether he realizes it or not this game may define his career. He was a terrible field general and did not manage the game well.

Romo CHOKED and you're looking for any way out of it.  As it is, I think you abandoned the argument because you realized I had you cornered, so now you're relegated to twisting the meanings of words to avoid admitting that Romo is terrible in close-and-late situations

He makes you think he's more reliable than he is, then he turns it over or blows a key play towards the end of the game

    ergo, CHOKE

The fumble shouldn't have happened, as he was coming out of a timeout where they discussed the play.  Whether it was Romo or the centers fault, I don't know, but that of all plays shouldn't have happened. Also, the delay of game penalties. The first one he took was after a too many men penalty, how you take a delay of game penalty in that situation, I'm not really not sure.  I'm not saying he is solely responsible for losing the game, but those mistakes are inexcusable.

Does it make you jet fans feel better saying the cowboys have a great team, and they played a great game, but the jets won so the jets are legit?

Wow, you beat a team at home that went 6-10 last year and needed Romo to do a complete implosion to do it. The jets likely won't even make the playoffs this year. I'm more worried about the Fish than you guys. Give me a list of the teams you beat last year with a winning record.
