Umm, Sanders is not better than Decker.   There is a reason why teams weren't bidding on him. Solid veteran, but nothing more. Red flags as a Pats fan have gone off as well with LaFell apparently being more attractive to BB than Sanders after BB interviewed Sanders last year and offered so little.

You'd have to be a moron to think that Demarius Thomas still not signed and a FA after this season is a good sign, too.

The fact he's not extended proves they're entering a cap hell.

That's the equivalent of us not giving our 2010 1st rd pick Pro Bowl WR his new/second contract. BB would be strung in FOxborough Center if that happened here.

cap hell...?  Or gearing up to put the best possible team on the field this year...?

You know how the BB philosophy goes " ONe game at a time..."  What's wrong with "one Season at a time..."?    Spend your money BeliKraft.  Din't last year and what happened ...

Came up a couple players short of the super bowl.  But hey they avoided "cap hell"..lol.

Almost like not having your All Pro Nose Tackle not signed until after his last season.

I'm willing to make a bet witt you that DT signs with the broncos. They're not entering cap hell.  Welker is off the books next season and Manning is too, if not the season after.

Didnt you say they were going to be in cap hell this season?

Jones? He was a rookie in 2012 under the new rookie cap!  LMAO

He's under contract through 2015, which means even looking at his extension won't come until after next season when Hernandez will be in jail and all kinds of money freed up, not to mention a potential bargain with Browner possibly taking over from Revis.

BB is likely in extension talks with McCourty right now.  The real key to the extensions was really Ninkovich last year, believe it or not. Getting that on the books was huge.

How about Revis' second year at a 26 mil hit? Won't that be cap hell or is he just a "rental"?

yeah it is. our 2/32 player is a top 3 CB arguably #1 and people claim he's best in the generation.

and dont tell me he had a bad 2013 becuase Tampa's pass was 32nd n 2012 and only 17th last year.

i would gladly take the 5mil dead money next season for the best CB not some scrub barely #2 WR

Was just reading about Sanders, he played in all 16 games last year 750 yards 6 td's he will only be better with Manning. The steelers o line was rotten last year ben had no time.

Probably not considering after Welker blew his out in 2009 and came back in 2011 stronger, a year removed, the player was better.

12 million for Revis 1 year removed from an ACL tear is clearly good market value.

So, you're suggesting that a blown out knee makes an aging CB better?  Either way, what does Welker have to do with anything? Are you ever able not to deflect?  What a tool.

Umm, the Pats would have WIPED THE FLOOR with Denver last year in the title game if not for a cheapshot by Ward on Gronk, Vince and Kelly going down with Mayo and Talib taken out on a dirty picky play in the title game itself.

Expect problems for Denver if NE is healthy this year. Oh yes.

Our luck is bound to change in the injury department.

After 2014, you can expect Denver to start to fade with Gomie one year older and quite possibly calling it quits.

Denver didn't seal the deal in the SB because they weren't built very well and it's questionable that they still are.

If Talib can stay healthy, he's an upgrade over DRC, but that's about it for them.

Losing Beadles, Moreno, Decker, Woodyard, Ayers, maybe Shaun Phillips, or even the veteran Bailey who was playing pretty well in the middle are key losses.

To expect Fumbles Ball to consistently play the Moreno role in that offense over 16 games is arrogance at its finest.

I'll take what we got here and run with it, thanks very much.

The Broncos had a few injuries last year too:

Ryan Clady-considered one of the top 2 or 3 O lineman in football.

Von Miller........D player of the year

    Vickerson.......D lineman

    Wolfe.............D lineman

    R Moore..........Safety

    Harris.......good Cornerback

Champ Bailey was basically worthless too. That's 6 1/2 major injuries. What world do you Patriots fans live ine?

He's a rental for now with Browner in reserve, moron.

Get it? What does Elway have in reserve behind Talib? Chris Harris is a good player, but he's ALSO due for a new deal behind DeMarius Thomas.

Sure looks like some poor planning from year to year from Horseteeth as he's blown drafts in recent years.

Jury is still out on Denver's draft last year, too. Neither Sylvester Williams nor Ball impressed much.

So, let me understand what you are now saying.  Revis is rented at top dollar, but the long term plan is an avg CB with two strikes that Seattle didn't want?  Oh my.  Good plan.  Sounds like BB has already given up on last year's crop of CBs just as he has given up on last year's WRs.  Can't say I blame him.

    UGH.

    Last time, MORON:

OUR BASE IS BUILT THROUGH THE DRAFT ALREADY AND UNDER CONTRACT TOGETHER.

If your base is not built, it makes no sense to rent and overpay because you have no leverage in the first place. In our case with Revis, BB gets him for less on the market and for ONLY 1 year, with Browner in the mix. Get it, dummy?  Add in Dennard, Logan Ryan, and there is a pipeline.

Your team meanwhile is going to start Dee Milliner a rookie injury prone bust who was BENCHED 3 times in one season as the #9 overall pick and soon to be FA 1st bust, KYlie Wilson.

Why is this concept so difficult for you? Is it because your Jets have been trying to build a base for over 40 years and you've never seen it happen?

    LOL!!!

Oh, I think it might be, folks!

    bawhhahah!

    awbahaha!

So, now you're saying that last people like Talib, Amendola, Greggory etc were not part of the "base"?  Patsies had 8 starters that were not drafted by them.  You think this mean that the "base" was built through the draft?  The jets had 6 or 7 starters that were not drafted by them.  Sounds like what you're saying is that the Jets "built their base" through the draft.

Bludgeoned again.  How's it feel Queen Bean?

They replaced Revis with Milliner and just cut injury prone Cromartie. You got nothing out of it other than hoping Richardson's shoulder holds up and isn't as overrated as he appears, as well as being used for years by selfish Revis.  How does that tastet? Now, your team will be sub .500 every year for years and years to come.

What is the question, Bustchise? Maybe if you knew how to pose a question and articulate like a normal adult, I'd answer it.

The Jets failed to lock down Revis before his status made him this perceived "best" CB, which he and Rex Ryan helped promote, to fleece Woody Johnson and Tannenbaum, stupidly so.

Ya see, BB lets other players destroy franchies, and then takes them on when they're done doing so.

    LMAO

He's done it for years with Bryan Cox, Dillon, Moss, Talib, now Revis. Enjoy!

So, you were expecting that Milliner would immediately be the best CB in the NFL just becasue he was the best CB in the draft?  God, you're an idiot.

All they got was Richardson?  You know he was the DROY, right?  Overrated?  What was he rated?  By who?  What should he have been rated?

Queenie, tell me, what's more important for a rookie, how you play in September or how you play in December?

He's done it for years with Bryan Cox, Dillon, Moss, Talib, now Revis. Enjoy!

So, what you're saying is that when Mike T had Revis on a 7 year deal, they didn't "lock him up"?  What an idiot you are.  Let's recap just how much.  Revis was drafted in 2007 and was known to be the best CB by 2009.  When should they have re-signed him? 2008?  Are you this stupid?

"Is that worse than 2 years for 32 mil for the guy that blew out his knee?"

Mike sorry but this post shows that you have a very deep level of football ignorance. Your hate is getting in the way of your ability to make any kind of coherent point.

It's a one year contract, for $12 million. We all know that. Deal with it. The second year won't happen. Lumping the two years together is asinine.

As for Sanders, it's not a bad signing, not a great one. But the idea that teams can't manouver the cap to get the players they want to make a push is a fantasy that gets too much play around here.

Yes a few years down the road there is a reckoning and players get cut or released. But it's not as bad of a reckoning as it's made out to be.

The real reckoning for the Broncos comes when Peyton's neck stiffens into concrete.

p.s. Mike can you tell us again how Revis called Belichick a "jerk" once and how that dooms this current contract arrangement?

    Thanks, looking forward to it.

That is because Bustchise is a victim of inbreeding, a Jets fan and jealous beyond belief of all that we have as fans.

Sanders is a bad signing because DeMarius Thomas is not locked up. He will now be asking for DOUBLE that, which smells like they know they can't give to him, so it's sink or swim in 2014 with Demarius, going for it all with Gomier under pressure.

Revis, Browner, etc, should cause major problems with their WRs in the title game.

Talib on Gronk?  Not sure Talib wins that battle.  Chris Harris would be on maybe Edelman I suppose.  That leaves a slew of other talented receiving options for Brady on that Denver pass D which is suspect.

I guess Ward could get some time on Gronk and Talib work on Dobson.

Title game predictions, Queenie?  The patsies are a team on the decline, as shown the last couple of years.  BB has given up on his drafted WR & CB and has paniced in FA and mortaged the future in an attempt to not waste more of TBs career.  Regardless, your predictions are more evidence of your arrogance.  All the while you are worrying about the Broncos not having locked up a 2015 FA?  What an idiot.
