I always root for the AFC. I don't care for either club but I think Denver has the more complete team.  Weather won't be a factor. I was hoping for a blizzard. Cool

Will root for the Seahawks . I don't expect manning to have 2 10 minute drives against that defense.

Anybody catch Frank Caliendo on espn doing a new skit. He played Belichick at home holding a lil puppy talking about social media and sherman. The whole skit was pretty figgin funny.

something for the Patriots to improve during the off-season. Getting the defense off the field, better pass defense, better pass rush...
Any pass rush at all would certainly be an improvement. That's largely on the coaching staff though IMHO.

i dunno. Partly I think you're right. The other part is personnel.  We need someone just as good; if not better, than Jones as a book end.

True. No doubt Jones needs help. I just get frustrated when I see, snap after snap, linebackers headed toward the secondary instead of the line. Even I could pick a defense like that apart.

*edit: Well, ok, not me, but any decent QB.

And Go Seahawks. Not one of my favorite teams, but I can't stand the thought of seeing Ol' Horseface (either one of them) hoisting up another trophy. Tongue Out

IMHO, the Seahawks D will do to Peyton which no other D has done this season.. basically, shut him down.  Unlike Kapernick, Peyton, when pressured, is not going to scramble out of the pocket and attempt to make a play with his legs.  He is either going to pass it downfield or fling it OB.

lol....I'd be lucky if I could throw a perfect spiral further than 20 yards. They all look like Peyton's wobbly passes...albeit alot shorter.
Back in the day (many moons ago) I was much better at catching than throwing.

Seattle got to watch those crossing patterns, Manning does not have the arm he used to have. Maybe send a couple of messages to recievers, 5 yard penalties and belt in the mouth.

They will have to jam their receivers off the line. I be trying to take Thomas out of the game. Then I would pressure manning yes that means blitz and take a chance the Seahawks DB's can cover one on one. If they can't and manning starts figuring the defensive alignment out, then make adjustements.

    Seahawks 27 Broncos 24

1st td is Manning to Moreno

1st Hawks td is Wilson roll out and hits Zac Miller for a 15 yarder!

Russels Wilson wins the game on a 2 minute drive. A star is born.

Wilson is a mobile QB, different from the last 2 they faced. It will be a problem. Especially in short 3rd down conversions.
