    Sensible Quarterback Grades for Sunday

Tom Brady:  A+  Defeated the best defense in the league.  Put up the most points of any team that weekend.  Did not need fumble recoveries deep in opposing territory to set up scores.  Needed a 4th quarter comeback to win it with his best receiver injured and out, and he took it in himself, suffering excruciating hits from the hardest hitters in the league.

Eli Manning:  B.  Put up a paltry 17 points in regulation, and needed 2 fumble recoveries deep inside enemy territory to set up scores.  But it was enough to win.

Joe Flacco:  F.  Put up a paltry 17 points (the other 3 came off a fumble recovered in New England territory).  Had a chance to win with the game on the line at the end but failed miserably.

Alex Smith:  F.  Put up a paltry 17 points, needed a fumble recovery deep in Giants territory to get that.  Could not come through with a chance to win in overtime.

There is nothing to debate here ... Tom Brady's performance was phenomenal.  All we can do is admire it.

Actually Flacco completed that pass for a td, it was his receiver who failed miserably when he didn't secure it. Not complaining though, just seeing things how they really are.

Flacco threw to a receiver covered by a cornerback in prime position to slap the ball away, which is exactly what happened.  F

It's funny all these fans complain about Borges and Massorotti all the time but their opinions are identical most of the time. Brady did enough to win and he is the primary reason the Pats scored 23 points. Now that Flacco is so great I assume you all are going to put your money on the Ravens next season because with that defense and his quarterbacking it's hard to believe they won't be winning the super bowl next year.

In Response to Re: Sensible Quarterback Grades for Sunday : If Ed Reed or Revis made the defensive play against Deion Branch in the corner of the end zone, the media would tell us what a great defensive play it was.  A scrub from the "worst" defense didn't fit their narrative.

Ghost svoring 11 points is the indicater on how TB played. too many points left on the table, settling for fg's. that is on TB. Pats had chances to put the game away and didnt, that is on TB

First words out of Bradys mouth after the game were 'I svcked pretty bad today', I doubt he'd give himself an A+, and I'm 100% positive BB wasn't too happy with is decision making. But if it makes you feel better, you go right ahead and give him an A+++++++ and a gold star for his forehead. Your mommy will be in with your bottle and binkie in a little while...
