It's football, you give 100% all the time. That's what he was taught here, can't blame the guy for something he was taught here

I blame the pats for scoring when the game was already ceded.

    Pats control their own actions.

I agree they should have took a knee with 5:00 left and embarrassed the Colts even more than they did.

Nope, you play the full game every game. That's why the Pats have won the big game a few times. Remember what happened to the Colts the year they went undefeated then sandbagged the last couple games of the season. The team is trained to play the full game no matter what and to have the killer instinct the whole game. Take that away by going soft at the end of games and it will cost you down the line. It means sometimes a guy gets hurt playing when he could have been sitting but that's how the game is played.

The Patriots only threw 5 passes in the 4th quarter.

If the colts resting players was the reason for their loss in the superbowl, how does that explain the pats superbowl loss in 07?

Re: SERGIO BROWN = BERNARD POLLARD to me for knocking out GRONK!

The Gronk injury on the PAT raises a question I brought up after the ARZ loss. specifically on the blocked feild goal which led to a short ARZ score.  Sunday night on the post game show on Weei, both Smerlas and DiOssie said there is really limited substitutes on PAT and FG teams maybe an inside giy and and outside guy ...2 at most. In most cases FG and PAT teams are same personnell. Coaches never substitute on these teams. ( Dunge and Rodney  said same on Sunday night).  I am sure TEs  maybe FBs are always on the ouside for seal out blocks .. but can still go out on fakes on FG attempts. My question before...it was Ebert ( I think) missed his block ( assignment) and allowed for the BK.. was he in for Herny? This happened after the injury. If so I think this is why the these special teams are pretty set and substitutions can only cause some confusion.

likewise how many injuries occur in this situation? If it was frequently then maybe lesser options would be considered. Also the networks would love this because they could squeese in another commercial.
