    Shannahan

Carter looks to be a hell of a player.  If Haynesworth is 80% of what he was as a Titan, you have to wonder what Shanny was thinking?  Why not just run a 4-3?  He's a professional coach, so it's not like he doesn't "understand" a 4-3.  I don't get it...

Shanny is like your grandfather that refuses to use  the interwebs because "People steal your credit cards on there!"

He thinks he knows everything to know, so he stopped trying to learn 20 years ago.  Without a bit of self assessment he will remain behind the times forever.

Totally agree about the 4-3 and have thought the same thing.  I actually have respected Shannahan as being a good coach in the past but I have no idea why he switched to a 3-4 when his team had good talent for a 4-3.  It makes no sense to me.  Coach to your players' strengths, right?  Why move to the 3-4 just because it's the flavor of the month?

I wonder if you have ever watched football.

In 2009, BTW, The guy he throws into Cutler like he's a teddy bear is 6'6 315lbs.

This is last year, supposedly when he was too out of shape to be good according to Shanahan.

    Also last year

Do you think Vick can get it down to 2 INT's this week or is that too much to ask?

Well, we're all getting ready to find out.  If there is any blowing up to do it will be Belichick showing him the door and out of football Haynesworth goes.  You play for BB or you don't...at all.  Me? I'm not worried about this because Haynesworth knows this is it for him.  A motovated Haynesworth could be something to see.

I'll never forget that one...one of the most amazing sacks I've ever seen.

I doubt he has that much still in him, but I expect him to be a force. And, if he efffs up on Belichick, he'll be gone in the blink of an eye.

Maybe it was only 2 years ago and Haynesworth just turned 30.  Speed tends to go in the early 30's, strength takes much longer.

Not in the same class as BB. BB can get any worth left in a player, if there's some left. Worse case was Adalius Thomas.
