Re: Should the Patriots have kept Adam Vinatieri?

PARCELLS ON VINATIERI: Cowboys coach Bill Parcells acknowledged in an interview with the Star-Telegram in Texas that his team might be in the market for a new kicker. But when the subject of potential free agent Adam Vinatieri was brought up, Parcells had an interesting answer: "If he's smart he'll stay [in New England]. He'd be Bobby Orr and Carl Yastrzemski and John Havlicek. That guy's done a lot."

    Colts strike gold

New England Patriots fans can't figure out what coach Bill Belichick was thinking when he let kicker Adam Vinatieri get away.

Vinatieri wanted a $3.5 million signing bonus. The Patriots refused, but the Colts agreed. What a move for Indianapolis.

Perhaps the best clutch kicker in NFL history, Vinatieri is 10-of-10 on field goals at the RCA Dome and 38-of-42 in domed stadiums.

More importantly, he hasn't missed a game-winning or game-tying kick since 1999. Not only did he win two Super Bowls with field goals, but he has won 19 games with field goals during his 10-year career.

The better question is should you still be whining about players that have been gone for years? Especially when you have no clue as to what you're talking about.

It's a great question since he's a troll deluxe now at this point. He takes any opportunity to subtly and very sneakily try to bash BB. He does it constantly.

He's never once commented on Brady's horrendous last 3 AFC title games or mediocre SBs, where he has let our team down for losses, pretty much directly because of his play.

As soon as that horrible defense can be fixed so we don't have to lose anymore superbowls, giving up 83 and 88 yard final drives to the other team then we can see if Tom F'ing Brady aka "The Franchise" needs to make some adjustments or not.  First things first.

Zip it dumbkoff. He is one of the most liked posters on the board. The exact opposite of you, the most detested poster on the board. Even the trolls from other teams take a second seat to you in being reviled.

One would think that might sink in to you and you would change your nutjob ways. But you are far too dense for anything to sink in.

Let's face it folks, after we analyze this that and the other thing regarding AV, it might just simply be that he calculated he would play three extra years kicking in a dome and went with that for the extra $$$ it would mean.

But it doesn't matter. To me, if you go to a hated rival when the money wasn't significantly different, you are a pariah in my book.
