    Siliga in Trouble

Both Reiss and Volin reporting that he went back to Mass for tests on his hand.  Looks like he could be out a while.  Bummer.

we're bound to get some injuries before the season begins...hopefully, none will result in key players ending up on IR.

Likely a broken wrist/hand.  I doubt that it will keep him out of too many regular season games.

My first instinct when I read the title was trouble with the law. Hopefully, this injury isn't too bad and keeps him out for as short as possible...but we will see.

He was the best DT to that point. He will still have a spot when he returns. Lots of lineman play with that big club on their hands. It will just make him more dangerous with the added headslap a la Reggie White. He doesnt tackle much. Just eats space.

Figures, the 2 guys off to a good early start, Siliga and Stork, get nicked up.  Stork's "Lower Leg" is beginning to worry me.

How is this misleading. If he seriously effed up his arm it could put his roster spot into question giving Jones/Vellano and Forston a chance to slide in

I hope he's going to be ok, we have a shortage of big guys that can play, come to think of it we have a shortage of guys healthy. Hope he is going to be back soon.

It's a long story, but if you are that curious and have about 15 minutes to kill just read the thread entitled "Ryan Mallett" from start to finish.

    Will do pcmIV...

and Rusty, I guess but when I saw 'trouble' I assumed roster spot only because I hear about his hurt wrist already. If you hadn't heard I guess it could be misleading.

It's gotta be more than a sprain if they sent him back to Boston for more testing. Pats are obviously concerned.

Bad news indeed.  We have a shortage of big guys that can play nose that don't already have questionable injuries that could possibly affect their playing time.  I saw him as one of the brighter spots last year, and he had a lot of potential (and still does) to possibly be our main man in the middle one day.  Hopefully this isn't anything too serious and he can bounce back from it quickly after it heals up.

I got it.  Sliga's got a wrist or hand issue they want a specialist to examine.  Did I break the code, pcmIV?

What kind of troll thread is this?  When you say someone is in trouble, it means they are pregnant. Any reasonable person would assume that Silga was going to be out for 9 months.  Unless he did what the Bean Queen's mother wishes she had done.
