How do they fix this? Anyone they can pull up from practice squad or is it just people making stupid mistakes

They did the same in the SF game when they needed to be at their best.

    Re: Special Teams

This game would have been a blowout in the Pats favor if the kickoff team could cover.

And that's even with all the help Houston got from the refs.

He seems tentative.  Not very aggressive or decisive.

And why is Welker returning punts?  Either of those guys goes down - major, major loss.

Do we even have a back slot receiver anymore?   Slater or Vareen.

Also makes you wonder if Ghost's leg is getting tired. Wasn't a cold or windy day; he's usually booming kickoffs out of the end zone. To be fair, the opening kickoff was 6 yards deep in the end zone, but he had a couple that barely cracked the goal line.

He kicks the ball based off the coverage....News flash the Ravens gave up two TD'S to the Broncos on special teams. the fix is easy, keep your lane disciplines and tackle the guy with the ball...

It was pretty windy in the stadium, blowing toward the lighthouse. Wind was definitely affecting kicks.

Did you see him save that TD running that guy down?  Get him in a little space and you will get your answer.  I don't like Welker fielding punts though, that's why I don't complain when BB addresses ST in the draft.

Probably because of his fumble earlier in the year when he first started the returns.
