has to be Ainge because I know he was drafted as a pitcher and chose basketball instead. I also think he was a QB too

How about this one... Can you name any of the 3 players in history who were drafted in three sports?
Note, I found this while I was researching the original question, not sure how old the information was, there may be more than 3 now.

That's the one I looked for from the op's question and is correct. The other two were names (Mickey McCarty and Dave Logan) I did not know.
