I heard that he may be fired and thrown out of the NFL which leaves him his only other recourse, teaching at an all girl school!Yell

    Rofl nice Stompper,

But in all seriousness I hate the Steelers but I have all the respect in the world for the Rooneys. Holmes takes it to far and they trade him for a bag of balls. Big Ben does it again and they say if the league doesn't suspend him we will, and now they take it one step further and might be looking to get him off the team too. I'm tired of the stars doing anything they feel like and getting away with it while people try to make excusses like, you don't know the pressure their on, or all sports stars do it, or just as long as they are on the field sunday who cares. I'm glad to see that there are some owners out there that won't stand for it.

Let's see...she was "bleeding in the g&ital area"...police spokesman addressed her as "the victim"...her friends say they were blocked from saving her from being alone with a reputed rapist by off-duty police officers working as body guards...she was beaten...there was semen in her...he reportedly liquored her up with shots before she was escorted fully drunk to a secluded are in the back of the club, alone with Ben...there are rumors of at least a third allegaton that is supposedly "the same situation".

I read a lot of grotesque rationalizations here and at other forums, but at this point are there any remaining people willing to give Ben the benefit of doubt?

How long is this guy going to be allowed to play in the NFL?

And how long are some delusion fans going to continue to disparage the alleged victims and defend Ben's fast-faltering reputation?  Hey guys, this could happen to your sister, girlfriend or wife.  How would you feel about him then? How many incidents will you have to read about before you consider that maybe someone is getting away with a very serious crime repeatedly?

Vick did some horribly insane stuff.  He was punished, though I am inclined to think not enough.  Serial killers kill dogs in the same manner that he did. Is Ben going to at least stand trial one of these times?  Do you think any of us regular, not-insanely-rich people would have escaped rape trials three times in a row if so accused?  And are we going to read about other "incidents".

Glad to see the Rooneys looking to take action by suspending him or possibly getting rid of him.  Ben is a piece of crap, hopefully one of these accusations lands him in court.  Problem is he thinks he has done nothing wrong.

Lets just hope they don't trade him to the Raiders. He does know how to quarterback.

Reading the article about how the girl said "No" and he just kept coming made me very, very uncomfortable. The guy creeps me out.

And sorry, NEGAME, Roethlisberger is a product of the Steelers' defense. The Steelers know any QB can step in and win a SB as long as they have Polamalu and their great LB corps on defense.

He'd be the perfect QB for the Jets and the assembly of scumbags they've brought in.  Maybe they'll trade Sanchez and some draft picks for him.

Re: Steelers Internally Discussing Dealing Roethlisberger

The Steelers organization or the league should suspend him. My understanding is that the woman in question did not want what would have been a very public trial. And yeah that is disturbing. Can the Steelers suspend him without league approval ? I can't see them getting fair value.

Really good post chrisakawoody.  Nothing can be said in defense of Rothlisberger.  He obviously has the IQ of a turnip and the social grace of a hyena.  One more case of a pro athlete who does not see women as complete human beings but reduces them to sex objects.  I hope the Steekers and Goodell come down very hard on him
