We have seen Manning play that bad before in big games. Brady has been off in big games but never  quite that bad. So I cannot image that either.

Brady and the Pats would not have lost THAT badly, even though the AFCCG of last season came close.

You know what I meant.  We'll never know how Brady and the Pats would have fared last night if they were the AFC team in the SB.  We can think all we want that Brady may have played better, hence, we'll never know.

Those were heart breaking losses, but no way near the drubbing we saw last night.

Been nice to see our defense hold the lead in those two SBs, but Wes Welker also dropped a pass that would have iced it for us in 46.

That's a fact and that's after Brady's Safety and INT in the 4th on 1st down.

agree. hopefully Kraft is pondering if BB has become viable as a coach or GM, and tells him it's one or the other.

The Patriots had the lead halfway through the 3rd quarter and were driving for the tie when a hit to Ridley's helmet that knocked the ball loose after knocking him unconscious at midfield.

The Broncos were humilated from the opening kickoff and started to show some life after the entire world conceded the game to the Seahawks.

That is not close, in my book.

You've turned into a major troll the last 2 weeks.  Not having Gronk, Vollmer, Mayo, Wilfork, Talib, Kelly or Spikes available in the title game means BB is a big game loser?

You've made about as much sense as the inbreds here the last 2 weeks.

Pete Carroll's repetitive 4-3 wind em up defense every week is "innovative" and BB is big game loser because he wasn't Nostradamus and couldn't foresee such a rash of injuries to all of those quality starters?

    That's 7 starters 5 on defense!   That's insane.

Take away Mebane, Red Bryant, Sherman, Bobby Wagner, Malcom Smith, their best pass receiver and Giacomini at RT and I can guarantee you, not only would that SB have been closer, it would have been higher scoring for Denver an they probably win.

You've turned into absolute inbred these last 2 weeks lashing out, brainwashed by the anti-BB media.

I get your point about the injuries , but these players that replaced the starters were all good replacements except for gronk or wilfork.   so the injury thing is more like every team, credit going to BB for subbing good players in and coaching them up.

So given that, you should expect with good coaching ane gameplanning you should have a good chance to win if you can atttack other teams weaknesses using the proven players that moved into prominent positions.

The major failures in the game against Denver were from Belichicks staff .  like continuing with that ridiculous man coverage on D. Thomas and the lame playcalling and strategy to start the game on offense.

You didn't see that type of faiure with Carroll's coached team.  Seattle clogged up everything peyton was trying to do while running plays attacking Denvers weaknesses on the edge...  Did you see the fat asz knighton get all spun around when Harvin was running right by him...?   lol..

Shut it Jet Troll...go after the neighborhood cats...it's all you're good for!

Smith is right on...Only Horseface could choke that badly...the Pats would have lost because nobody was beating that D last night, but he would have put up a much better fight than little horse lost  did..and he never WOULD HAVE TROWN HIS TEAMMATES UNDER THE BUS THE WAY HORSIE FACE DID LAST NIGHT after the game....he's a detestible coke artist...,and he should retire...now the entire league knows how to play his team, his offense is his to run and is full of little babbies that don't like to get hit, just like his old Colts teams....he's done.

No no dead head. BB needs to look in the mirror and evaluate his situation. No shame in it. He's still a very good coach but the new wave has caught up to him.

    Go find momma. Troll.

Put Brady on the Broncos and that's a close game last night, and who knows? They may of won. At least Brady wouldn't of thrown those picks or not of been accustomed to being pressured like that...he would of made better decisions. The Broncos D kept their running game in check...this game was on their offense/Manning.

That may of been one of the worst QB performances I've seen in a game like that in a long long time. Manning should be embarrassed.

I find it hard to believe that if you put Brady, or any of the other top 5-10 QB in the NFL for that matter on the Broncos offense...that any of them would be held to 8 points. Manning played like absolute garbage....end of story. Probably the worst game of his career, up there with the 6 INT game against the Chargers.

    I don't know what you're referring to,

i'm pretty much saying BB has either done a poor job as GM or as a coach since 2004.

but yes i've been watching football since 1968. carroll did not get the team to perform at the level they should have between 97-99

you may need to get a grip.

It is funny how Manning is the GOAT prior to this game and now he is a scrub all of a sudden?

Has anyone maybe thought that the Seahawks were just too good and on top of their game?

No way in hell would Brady do any better, not against that monster Defense.  I think the Patriots would get shutout yesterday. Manning was throwing to D Thomas, Welker, J Thomas and Decker. He has a superior OLINE.

    D. Thomas had 13 catches against an all pro secondary.

    Welker had 6.

Now you ask yourself where would the catches come from on the Patriots?  Julian Edelman catching 10 hard contested throws for 50 yards and then getting buried before getting any YAC?  Who else would get any catches?  Nobody!  The Patriots OLINE would get manhandled. They were manhandled by a far less talented Broncos defense.

It would have been story if it was Brady out there, probably even worse when considering the lack of weapons.

noone knows how Brady would have performed in the SB.  A person who says that he would have played worse than Manning would have been equally "right" as smith.

He could be equally right until you apply common sense. No way Brady plays the whole game with that deer in the headlights look we saw last night. No way. Even Collin Kaepernick played very well against this same defense up until the very end. Gomer doesnt get off the hook that easy.
