Truly the team of the decade. That is a 50% participation in the Championship Game this century, which to me is very impressive, and possibly unmatched. Go Pats!

It's 11 years, but still impressive.

Technically maybe. 2001 SB was played in 2002. 2011 SB is being played in 2012. -

Not technically, mathematically. 2001 was the first season of their run, 2011 is the 11th. -

Well close enough. And of course it does not take into consideration any previous years. But I won't let semantics get in the way of a little sensationalism. -

We'll call it a baker's decade, how's that?

But now that I think about it, it is their sixth AFCCG in 11 years, which is more than 50%, so you actually undercounted! -

Well, Rexy can say he "watched" six AFCCG games in 11 years!! He was with the Pats in those ealry years, right? -

Which certainly brings out the ire from other teams fans. The Patriots are not getting much love around the country. -

If Green Bay were still in it, we'd see all sorts of love for that team or any other team other than the Pats. The underlying current to it all is pure jealousy! They want to see their team in the spot light as often as the Pats! -

Win the SB, and still have the claim as the best team of the past decade. 'nuff said. -

Another thought. By getting to the SB, BB and TB will again go onto the records books as the only coach or QB to be in 5 SBs. Quite a feat.

Didn't Elway play in 5? I'm not sure, but I think he did...maybe it was 4? Doesn't matter he is nowhere near the QB that Brady is - truthfully when it's all said and done - no one will be. -

Yeah, but he was 2-3 and had different coaches
