This is just a hypothetical since I know we blowout whoever we play by 21. Late 4th Qtr. 2:10 left Patriots up by 2.  We have the ball on the opponents 41, it's 3rd and 11.  Who does Brady throw the ball to? I say Gaffney for a 13 yard reception.

In Response to Super Bowl 47 :      Third and long is always tough to pick up. Who are the Pats' playing against? How many time-outs do the opponents have left? What the Pats don't want is an incomplete pass, a pick, or a sack. Want to make sure that they run off 11 seconds, eliminating the 2 minute warning time-out...and that they retain good field position.       But, based on how the Pats lost the last two SBs...they've got to be aggressive, and get that damned first down! Expect the blitz. Then, hit Welker underneath. If not, let Brady audible, based on what he sees from the "D".

In Response to Re: Super Bowl 47 : Against Green Bay...  They have 2 TOs, NE has 1.  NE's wearing home jerseys, Green Bay's in a throwback away uniform.  Romney, Limbaugh, Sarah Palin, and Jesus holding hands with TexasPat's extended family in unified support for NE.  Welker has a somewhat lingering low ankle sprain from 3 weeks back.  Connoly in for Koppen.  Lloyd's not at a complete 100%- He ate a expired vanilla whey protein bar at halftime.  Also tcal's not being totally honest- The Ball's at the 41 and 1/2 yard yard line, so it's closer to "3rd and 11 1/2."  Patriots using ice blue gatorade, green bay with the standard lemon/lime green (they had a bucket of red, but late in the game, that's now out).  Lloyd has black reeboks on, Gafney in white adidas (blue laces, with the end of 1=very slightly "frayed"), Welker in mid-cut red & white nikes, TP and the Jesus contingent in sandals floating above water (Jesus attempting to make a point, is sporting sandals with a heavier core offering superb arch support), Brady has 1 nike on his right foot and a wound-up canvas sash around his left foot (for some reason 3 cotton swabs are sticking out of the top);  Peppers is attempting to convince Belichick the merits of not totally forsaking pineapple on all forms of flatbread pizza.  Josh McDaniels was thinking roll-out to then reverse side screen to Devin McCourty with Hightower, Spikes, Wilfork, and Chandler Jones blocking...but now he believes he left his car keys somewhere in the tunnel, so he's sorta at odds.  6 hot dog vendors have run outta bvns, so now there's a rather large nacho swing of momentum from the fans in the stands...  Rod Stewart and Robert Plant performed "Young Turks" in a duet from their wheelchairs for the halftime show- Unexpectedly, they actually rocked the house.  There was a commercial for a new type of Chrysler Sedan after the 1st Quarter, half-time there was a McDonald's Commercial where someone famous that did something stvp#d is purposefully acting st#p!d in the same vein as he acted st#p#d in the 1st place, One where Kobe Bryant, Ben Roethlisberger and Peyton Manning teamed up to sell a medical device that can be used as a neck brace or wrist restraints equally well, Start of the 4th saw a penaut butter commercial made in poor taste about George Washington Carver...a great many Chinese are now outraged.
