Here comes the tears.....scripted.
refs should have made call...Crabtree inches from catch...refs always have to have an impact

All things considered, that final call was a good no-call, but based on how the officiating has been going for the past 6 years, and based on how that game was being called, it was rather inconsistent not to throw a flag there.
Ravens made enough plays to win, but the Niners had it at the end and proceeded to have about as bad a string of plays/calls/game-management as you possibly could.
On to the draft. Let's get Reed up to New England, build this defense into a strong-unit, and get Brady some weapons.

The stupid off sides penalty in the first quarter was a killer. I said when it happened that it would figure in the outcome. That gave Balt 4 more points than they should have had.

They called the PI call...kept Ravens drive alive...then put whistles away...except for offsides.....anybody know the penalties called in the game for each team?

SF 5/33
Thought it was a well officiated game.

Kaepernick sure has nothing to be ashamed of, he played a great game. Other than the int he showed up pretty well, esp for a second year player.

I really thought the 49ers should have tried a run on that 2nd and goal after the 2 min warning. They were having success with the run, so why stop?

Agreed. Also on the 4th down pass, he literally had 2 seconds to let it go...nobody blocked the guy blitzing. -

Yes, I thought so too, especially with Kap and the way he was running. -

The good news is we dont have to worry about Baltimore repeating. No way they are as good next year.

The only thing I will criticize Kap for on that last possession was on 3rd down, he should not have thrown to the guy that was double covered (Crabtree?) on the drag route. He was not open at all. -

That was comical. right in the middle - obvious - guy had both arms around his waist. No call. -

But even if they call it its still a safety. Might have gained 2-3 seconds, it wouldnt have helped. -

Right. But it goes to show you they weren't going to call anything at that point. -

I guarantee he is on TV every sunday next year. NFL network probably - but don't rule out Fox or CBS.

Except on the opening for SC every day for the next year.
