Not sure I agree. At the beginning of the season, a lot of people picked the Pats to win the SB. Pats should have won but offense couldn't make the plays when they had them. -

ccnsd... the Pats thought that run play would have worked but the Giants defensed it better! Plain and simple. The Pats D could not keep the Giants from going on a 90 YARD drive on their last possession!!! For 57 minutes they are doing their job and of all times to give it up! The Offense, seemed to go into hibernation after the 96 yard TD drive to go up 17 - 9 then phhhhtttt! Giants score the last 12 points! -

We this su-----cks.There is a lot of coulda, woulda, shoulda in a close game like this. The bottom line is that the Giants made plays when they absolutely had to and we didn't. It was still a good season and I am still proud to be a Patriots Fan. -

With a lesser defense, he faded. It was a good game, we came out bad early, had a chance to win it, and lost it in the last 5 minutes. When that happens 3 times in a row, you got to say the other guys are better. We need to fix some things (OUTSIDE THREATS, CORNERS) and come back next year.

Hate to give you the bad news, but Wes Welker didn't choke today. That incompletion was 100% on Brady who missed a wide open Welker. Welker tried save Brady's bacon with an incredible attempt to catch the ball. -

trade that last td they had to give up and exchange it for a td... also take away that safety and nyg would have ended with 16 pts -- better than 49ers -

Anyone else think the Giants had 12 men on the field on purpose with 16 seconds left? Time comes off the clock, there's an extra defender making it that much tougher to complete the pass and the worst that happens is a 5 yard penalty. -

To give the defense credit, Manning was throwing into incredibly tight windows (you know, what Brady was unable to do). Pats played good defense but you have to give props to Manning. He was the better QB today. -

I agree... when it counted the Giants D put the pressure on Brady and did not give him the "clear" time to get off good passes. The Pats D literally allowed the Giants to march down field for the go ahead score. Brady had some openings but the throws were off due to the pressure. Most of the game the big ugglies kept Brady pretty clean then lose it in the end!
