[QUOTE]In Response to Re: tate and edelman />get them involved : isn`t that your mantra, 'edelman may be seriously injured'? in any case, having julian return kick-offs and a sceen pass or two pergame, as well as letting tate break free on an end around or sceen, not only would be good for their self-confidence, but would be good solid plays that would pick them up substantial yardage.

He caught a TD Pass, and ran an end around against the Jets....

If he starts holding onto passes (which he will cause he actually has good hands) than that one or two passes thrown his way go for huge gains.  He's coming a long fine. Edleman is the one whom I am confused about, and what his role is to the team.

Bingo! These guys have to prove themselves. Both have dropped passes when given opportunities in the past. The NFL is not a place to test guys out when the play-offs or playoff seeding is on the line.

Edleman is doing a good job as a punt returner. Tate is doing a good job returning kick-offs. That's their roles for now. Both players, especially Tate, need to work on their route running and pass catching skills.

Yeah, Tate and Edelman would really take this #1 offense to the next level. Its a fantastic idea to start screwing with what is working just to get these two involved.

Edelman is Welker's backup. Too bad for him.

You do realize that you suggested Edleman getting more involved by taking away from Tate returning kicks.ist off thats contridicting yourself. Second we have an offense where TB throws it to whose open. We used to try to keep Moss involved and thats when we threw picks. Third, WHY IN THE HELLL WOULD YOU WANT TO CHANGE THE #1 OFFENSE IN THE NFL.

i think its all on practices, if bb & brady feel like they need to be involved, they would be. And i think tate is being involved a lot more than other WR's have been recently... Remember, Chad Jackson, we kept saying why isnt he involved but he was too dumb to understand the system and Galloway last year but tate seems to be playing a lot of downs so hes doing something right.
And Edelman just has some bad luck, injuries, welker being ahead of him, woodhead being found off the street...
